INITIAL IMPRESSIONS/QUICK READThis is a beautiful, quality table that perfectly blends a more classic look in the dark espresso wood base with modern elements of a chrome-look ring, stainless support accents, and a glass top with frosted band to create a contemporary piece that will elevate any dining area. Well packaged/relatively easy assembly. I completely agree with the reviewer who stated that the table appearance exceeds the cost; couldn’t word it any better!MORE DETAILS:Shipping: ordered 2/6/24 and table was delivered 2/8/24, so delivery was extremely quick (it was shipped locally as I am in the same area as the company’s distribution facility, so that no doubt shortened the delivery time).Packaging: arrived in two boxes, one containing the base and one containing the glass top (which is very heavy). All items were extremely well-packaged with sufficient protection/cushion to avoid damage.Instructions/Assembly: clear/concise and easy to decipher (no text, just images, with 7 diagrams including the finished product image) with all parts clearly labeled as well as each step/diagram reflecting the corresponding labeled parts needed for that step. Assembly took 1-2 hours from unboxing to finish at a leisurely pace, but I also encountered an issue (see caveats below) which extended the time. The instructions indicate 2 people recommended for assembly, but that is really only for installation of the glass top as it is very heavy (~60-65 lbs) and requires extremely precise leveling/alignment to mount on top of the base. There are cylindrical, hollow stainless accents that sit in/screw into holes in the table legs and extend slightly above the legs, then the glass top has attached stainless feet that “seat” into those cylinders, giving the glass top a very secure fit (unlike most glass top tables that just use rubber bumpers between the table legs and glass top).Pros:• Quality/appearance; value for the cost• Glass top securely attaches to the base• Relatively easy assembly with clear instructions; sturdyCaveats/be aware:• The direction you assemble the legs matters…at least, it did with my table. After constructing the base and attaching the mounting brackets for the accent ring that sits under the glass top, the holes in the brackets/ring did not align. (The holes on two of the opposing sides aligned with the brackets, but the holes on the other two opposing sides were both offset, in the same direction, by about an inch where you could see the holes in the ring outside the edge of the brackets.) Disassembling the base and reversing one leg piece resolved the issue where all 4 holes aligned. The assembly instructions did not include any notes that the direction the legs are combined makes a difference in assembly.• The item description is misleading. It lists the materials as “Solid poplar wood, CHROME, Tempered glass” with “CHROME and brushed stainless accents.” This gives the impression that there is a chrome METAL component to the table when, in fact, there is absolutely no chrome metal in any of the table elements. The accent ring, which I presume is what the product description is referring to as “chrome” and which presents the appearance of metal in the product images, is actually just PAINTED wood with a chrome-look finish (it also scratches easily). While it still looks very nice, just be aware of what you are getting and that it is not metal.Overall, this is an extremely nice product that delivers beyond its cost. I deducted one star for the slight confusion in assembly (as I could easily see someone thinking this was a defect in the product and returning it) and for the misleading production description regarding the “chrome” accent. Really, it’s closer to 4.5 stars and it would be a solid 5 stars if not for these minor issues.

Beautiful classy looking table. Was very easy to assemble with included instructions. Was very well packaged to avoid any damage during transport. Was delivered quickly thru FedEx.Glass table top actually connects to base which makes it super sturdy. Glass can’t get knocked off. I am super happy with this purchase.
