Great but has a weird smell
Mine smells like factory metal but itâs not overbearing until you get close to it. Iâve sprayed it with febreeze occasionally and thatâs been helping it go away. Other than that, itâs a great height under my desk & I love that itâs even MORE storage for all my things!

This chair is shipped flat. Two of the sides have a fold in the middle and the bottom flap is just fabric (there is a separate bottom piece that you will insert later), which allows this ottoman to be folded up to be shipped so.The two slightly longer side has no fold in it, so it is a solid piece.So once out of its mailing packaging, I remove the plastic covering for this item and immediately notice a strong smell. It is one of the factory smell and it was strong. I did a quick wipe down with a damp towel with some soap in it. It didn’t help much, so I had to let this air out a bit and did a second wipe down. That did help.I also noticed a bit of fluff came off (just a tiny bit) during my first wipe, but not anything after that.The set up is easy. When you have the sides straighten out, you put the solid bottom piece (it was hidden behind the lid for me) onto the bottom (inside) to keep it firm. That will help keep the sides up and straight. Then the lid goes on. Your ottoman is set.I have tested out sitting on the ottoman. So far, it has been able to carry 130 lb no problem! I sit on it everyday, for 15 min or so, and it is still fine after a week. It feels sturdy, just low, which is normal for an ottoman.This ottoman also has a flat flap on one of the long side. So you can store some small/ flat things there or put bigger things on the inside? I personally wouldn’t put anything in this little flap as it might make it sag and look not as great.Although the fake fur on this ottoman is very short, it is thick – the entire seat (except the bottom and inside) is properly covered. The top of the lid is also very cushion-y, which is why I didn’t mind doing daily sit test on it.I wish there were other color options, but so far, I am loving this ottoman! Great for the price.

Weight limit claims questions??
Itâs a beautiful bright white color with amazing texture. Itâs very short and it says it can hold a couple hundred pounds but I would not be the one to test that for sure. Itâs probably good for a small child or something but my 16 year old daughterâs replacement stool for her vanity not so much!
