Comfy and well padded
I ordered this ottoman to put under my desk so that I can put my feet up while at my computer. It fits the bill well, with comfortable padding and it’s surprisingly sturdy. I sat on it and it seemed to hold my weight without a problem. The fabric seems good quality and it holds a lot of stuff. The side pocket is a nice addition too.

Perfect clutter hider
The size is perfect for my corner office without a desk, in the living room surrounded by clutter. It’s wide enough and tall enough to hold 13″ files without bending the edges or, the file tops after putting the top on.The laptop is on a scooter that gets pushed up against a window wall when not in use. The new storage stool fits between the scooter pedestal feet … and voilÃ¡! No more having to stumble over the in-process papers and files.Re: fabric-smell concerns–Amazon buyers responded “no” and “slightly, probably from the plastic wrap.” You were all correct! Thank you. Someone read the remarks and tore away a bit of the plastic wrap before boxing. It was a significant help. The short-lasting whiff dissipated quickly.Aesthetically pleasing utilitarian “tool.” The price is right for my use even if it doesn’t maintain its looks for years. Unfortunately my picture didn’t upload.

Cute and functional, small
I think this ottoman is as described, but is really more like a stool than an ottoman. I can fit maybe two blankets in it, three if they’re really thin, and it’s just small in comparison to my couch (which isn’t a very big couch to begin with). Other than that, it’s a nice quality with an easy lid to pop on and off, and is quite sturdy for resting legs on.

Sturdy, nice padding, nice look too.
This little piece of furniture is ideal for storage and being a piece of furniture at the same time. Have a great deal of books and such to manage. I’d say a smaller person could actually sit on this thing without a problem, but it’s really ideal for a footrest as advertised. Looks great, nice fabric. Deep gray tends to blend in with anything it seems. Good cushyness.
