I got this ottoman for my freshman year dorm room so I could get onto my semi-lofted bed. The ottoman works okayyyyy but lacks the structure necessary to be climbed on multiple times a day. Almost twice a day I step on it and it pushes out from underneath me and I fall. I am a 140lb averagely coordinated person so I’m pretty sure the issue is in this ottoman. I’ve compared it to my roommate’s Amazon ottoman which was similarly priced, and hers is much more stable. I tried adding some more weight storage into the ottoman so it stays stable, yet the ottoman still slips around a little bit and is not quite tall enough for me. My roommate has also mentioned that the side walls seem to bend slightly underneath when I step on it, even on the flat parts of the folded edges. Keep in mind that I’ve only had the ottoman for a single week, so these signs may progress into a broken ottoman. The storage is decent and it looks cute, so I’m sure it would be nice for an apartment as a simple footrest. I got gray and the color came as expected. It is also decently comfortable and cushioned to sit on, but if you are planning on using it often as a stool I would try to find another ottoman.

This ottoman is good for storage and looks cute. The gray color and fabric is nice. It’s not super sturdy, not for sitting or large feet, but does the job. It’s easy to assemble and the lid stays on firmly and doesn’t shift. This is great for a dorm room or first apartment.
