This is a beautiful foot stool and it’s sturdy enough to sit on. The lid has a hard black piece of wood to be used as a side table when reversed but I don’t like the small chips on the paint that were visible when I opened the box and the wood doesn’t cover completely to the edge of the fabric as shown in the picture. One of the leg plates has rough paint that looks like it’s melted but overall it’s very nice I will keep it.

The fabric is soft. The design is pretty. I like the textured lines around the footstool. The top is smooth, soft and plain. The top where one rests both feet is small and hard. The cushion is not very thick, so I can feel the hard uncomfortable surface underneath. The circular diameter is 13 inches. I can barely fit my feet on top. I ended up putting an 18×18 pillow on top of the stool to make it more comfortable, softer and thicker. This way, I can keep both feet up on a larger surface by adding more cushion and stay comfortable longer. I plan to order a 2nd foot stool with a larger diameter and thicker cushion for better foot support and comfort. The inside storage is 4.5 inches deep. The interior is all black. I like that the top can be flipped over and converted to a round table to hold 1 or 2 beverages. It has 4 legs which were easy to install. Each leg has 4 screws for a total of 16 screws. No extra screws came with the footstool. The price point should be lowered. This footstool is more appropriate for a child as opposed to an adult due to the size of the top coupled with a hard uncomfortable surface. The height is decent. I kept the stool but will not be using it on a daily basis. I am on the fence about recommending this footstool. After you read my review you can decide whether or not you want to purchase this particular footstool.
