This rug is nowhere close to the dimensions! It is 5 ft wide in most spots but there is not one spot that is 7 ft. The widest is 6’4″.Yes it is soft but it is very thin, ou can see clear to the pad in spots. Sorry but I do not recommend this product at all and it is getting returned.

While it definitely is not as soft or fluffy as the pictures it is still cute. Has no cushion so if you’re thinking you’re getting any sort of cushioned rug it’s not this one. But for decor it’s great. It looses some softness once it’s washed but what can I expect.
