I think this is an excellent buy for the price. It’s actually made of metal and the veneer wood top is nicely finished all the way around. A couple of important notes I didn’t see in the description is that the outlet can only be put in either end, not the center section, because of the wood pins that help hold them together. The other note is that it is two independent and separate tables, there is no way to connect them together included. Which is fine if it goes it’s behind the couch, might be troublesome if you intend to use it as a small hallway table. Overall, I recommend this item.

I decided to get these tables so I could have adequate outlets for my living room, since my couch covers a few. These tables were pretty easy to assemble and the power cords are pretty long. They look great behind my couch and I love that I’m able to plug my phone charger in right behind me instead of running an extension cord through the couch cushions.

It’s not hard to put together but the holes for the ports do not line up. So you have to be careful when unplugging or it feels like it’s about to break. It’s top heavy so can not stand alone. I have it pushed to the wall with the sofa on the other side. It’s cute and gets the job done but I would not but again…

I saw reviews saying it was wobbly, but it actually comes with ways to attach the table to the wall to keep it more secure. I personally didn’t do that because it was a very good fit and I love the utility of the outlet and using it as a side table for drinks. It’s the perfect height for my couch, so I think it’ll look great behind more standard couches.
