Gorgeous and inexpensive â great value
I absolutely love this bamboo entryway bench! Originally, I purchased it with the intention of using it as a Japanese-style table so that I could enjoy meals with my tiny dog on my lapâhe always seems to find his way over when I’m eating, and I wanted him to feel included. However, I ended up buying a stool and opting to sit at my counter instead.Initially, I debated returning the bench because my NYC apartment is incredibly small, and I wasn’t sure if I could accommodate both a stool and a bench in the kitchen area. But let me tell you, this bench is so stunning that I’m seriously reconsidering returning it at all. Nice benches, no so great packaging
I like the benches. I’m using them for plant stands. Easy to put together and sturdy. I don’t understand the reviews that talked about the screws being too short, they worked just fine for me. The one thing that I don’t like is the packaging. Like most things from China, they are filled with tons of styrofoam blocks, styrofoam sheeting, and plastic – none of it recyclable. The box was so strapped with cheap tape that it’s impossible to remove in order to atleast recycle that.Amazon’s new commercials talk about how sustainable they are becoming, but they need to start with these companies overseas. Vegetable-based packing peanuts would have cushioned these benches just fine 🙂

I use this beautifully designed bench as a coffee table placed in front of my small couch/loveseat. I have a studio apartment. The bamboo wood is very sturdy. The style is Japanese Zen/Bauhausâ¦a very elegant minimalist design. The packaging was perfect. I put the table together and set it up in 20 minutes! Easy sturdy aesthetic and smell nice
Very nicely packed, smells nice when you open, easy to assemble, all the holes to assemble aligned nicely, sturdy and thoughtfully came with foot pads. Did I mention their unmatchable price? It is perfect as a dining chair for antsy kiddy butts. Easy to clean, made from the most environmental hardwood. Itâs so perfect I have to crawl here to leave a review.

I disagree with some comments that say it’s shaky and unstable. My wife and I weigh close to 300 lbs in total and the bench is sturdy enough for both of us. It has a Japandi feel to it and we love it. Assembly was easy. The package arrived in flat boxes. It would even be better if it ships sooner.
