This works. However, we have found the controls challenging at times. Once you press on a command it is not easy to stop it or change it after it gets started. Human error is what it is, so we’ve found we make mistakes and then it gets stuck in the mode it’s in. Overall, we’re not thrilled.

Over my whole life Iâve been a purist about cooking with just my trusty rusty iron skillet. Iâve always thought the only way to cook to the best of my ability was with the oven. I use every feature, broiler, roaster, Iâm a baker, a pizza stone user, a wok user, Iâve got a pan for everything, and I season my skillets after every use. Not a drop of soap has touched them for 30 years. But last year I got an instant pot and now this air fryer. I guess I gave in to all my friends saying how great they are. And now I get it! This air fryer is a remarkable time saver and with the cost of olive oil rising steadily, Iâm thinking this will save on how much I use every day. The basket holds a lot, and I can crisp up things faster than with the broiler, and with much less babying, turning, rotating, checking. The appliance itself is very large, so Iâm not going to let it live on my countertop, but can just put it away when not using. Itâs not so hard to clean. Iâve got a few T-Fal brand things around the kitchen already, so itâs a brand I know and trust. I have to say that the controls are very easy to understand and operate, which is great because I donât like to read a whole manual just to get started. The back of it gets hot so I pull it out from under my cabinets so as not to warp the undersides of the wood. We eat a lot of breaded patties and fries and roasted veggies that are now crispier and faster to make. Iâm really looking forward to seeing what else I can do with this wonder machine! Iâm so impressed, T-Fal!

This T-fal air fryer works excellent for French fries, tater tots and so many other things I haven’t tried yet. Looking forward to experimenting with this air fryer. Excellent deal for a appliance that is gonna be around for a long while!

Horrible! Extra long time for cooking
Doesnât cook anything. Only goes up to 200c and a piece of chicken takes 30 minutes to cook. Iâm not exaggerating. I had an old silver crust fryer that would cook chicken in 15 minutes. This thing is trash.

Great for a couple
I got this for my parents, who kept buying “fancy” gimmick versions of air fryers that they (and I) hated. I kept saying this kind was the way to go, but they were turned off and frustrated. This one is perfect. It’s got a smaller footprint, is from a brand known to do appliances well, and is very easy. I’m coaxing them into it but I can tell that once the trauma of those other behemoth disasters (who makes an open back fryer that flips up?? Grease everywhere!) they’ll use it often and love it. It’s super quiet, easy to clean, and cooks beautifully. Fantastic air fryer, especially for a retired couple.

This air fryer does a fantastic job with its presets, large capacity, and fast cooking time. Itâs easy to use and clean, making meals much quicker and healthier. However, the design can make it easy to burn the outer plastic cover when placing the tray back in while it’s still hot. Overall, it works excellent but just be cautious when handling it!

Lets start with what I hate about this fryer first to get it over with, then we can move on to what I like about it. I own two T-Fal air fryers. One is normal and great, then there’s this one. For some reason the people at T-Fal decided the default temperature of this air fryer needs to be in Celsius despite all recipes and all product instructions being in Fahrenheit. It’s not too difficult to change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit but you have to do it every time you select a program. It does not remember to stay in the temperature setting you select. It only changes for the one single time you run a program, then the next time you run it, it’s back to Celsius. It adds an extra step to your programming process every time you cook with it if you don’t know your conversions, which isn’t terrible but I find it irritating enough that I choose to use my other air fryer instead of this one more often than not.The fryer itself is very sleek looking and doesn’t look unattractive on your counter. The controls on the top of the unit are easy to use and simple to understand. The instruction book that came with the fryer is very informative and comes with a lot of very helpful information. I also love that the basket is dishwasher safe which makes clean up a lot easier after making something messy like steaks or chicken.Overall this is a great air fryer if you can handle the Celsius vs Fahrenheit issue.
