For the price this thing is excellent. Takes 30 seconds to set up. Just pops open, put the bottom piece in to brace it open. Fill with all the important and precious things, zip the cube shut as pop the padded lid on. This also solved a seating problem for us in the bedroom without taking up any space at all. Just some place to sit to get ready. States it holds up to 400 lbs. Now I’m no where near 400 lbs lol but it holds my chonk butt and feels plenty sturdy…if I’m just sitting on it and not trying to shift around too much..just don’t try to scoot around on it. I think if it were to be rocked and tilted with unevenly distributed weight of any amount, that definitely negates the engineering they had in mind when they believed they made this to hold 400 lbs. lol just my take on it.It does come with a lock of sorts, but it’s only secure enough to keep out small children and nosey folks who aren’t brazen enough to snoop past a flimsy zipper lock. I didn’t take any stars for that, tho. It serves all the purposes I needed it for and looks good too.
