Best coffee pot!
This is the best coffee pot ever, it’s really easy to work and program and it’s very sturdy it’s 12 cups and it’s small so it doesn’t take up so much room on your countertop. It’s a great buy!

Just received it last week, but so far I like it
At first I wasn’t too happy about a couple of things, but got them figured out. The main one was how hard it was to open the top part to make coffee. I have very painful arthritis and said oh no this is not going to work. But I put my hands on each side of the coffee maker and pushed in slightly and popped the lid open with my thumbs. No pressure, no pain. Then went to pour the water in. With the way it is made it is very awkward to pour water into the reservoir. Not hard, just awkward. I can live with that. I noticed there is a screen lining the inside of the reservoir. Anybody know why? Never seen that. It is a good value for the price. Love the size. Looks nice. Brews fast. So far, so good.

Nice, simple coffee maker
I really like this coffee maker. I’ve had it almost 2 years, and while I don’t use it everyday, it is serving me well. I love the reusable filter, the fact that you can make up to 12 cups at once, and the 2 hour hot plate auto turn off feature.I’ve read some reviews talking about leaking, but I have not experienced this problem. Although, regarding pouring water into the machine, I do think it’s easier to pour into the left section rather than the right (video attached, but please excuse the not-yet-emptied used coffee grounds and dripping carafe that I just rinsed ð). I also included a photo with an egg carton as a size reference lol.Overall, as a single person who doesn’t like complicated appliances, I really like this simple coffee maker. Simple to brew, clean, set the time, keep warm, and is a fair price.

Love it
I really like this machine. Itâs got a small footprint on my counter, and I love not having to buy filters. Some felt like it is awkward to fill, but if you just slow down and take your time pouring rather than dumping the water in, itâs fine. Itâs also really nice to be able to program for the next morning. Mostly I like that itâs just a simple, easy to use machine that anyone can use. It stays hot and tastes great. I recommend it.

Slow brewing, but otherwise good
Had I seen this in a store, I might have passed it by. This is a small machine! After the initial washing and drying of parts, I took it through 2 cycles with plain water, waiting at least 10 minutes between each finished cycle, as per the instructions. The area for pouring water is small. Then I made a pot of coffee. It took 20 minutes to finish brewing! I also had pressed the “strong” button, but at some point it turned itself off. Of course I could have poured a cup in the interim, but I wanted to see how long the process takes. It comes with it’s own flat-bottomed, reusable filter and a coffee scoop, the latter of which I didn’t use. This unit otherwise has great features, but it is unclear whether it will turn itself off after 2 hours of warming. The manual says to “be sure to turn it off”. Steam rises and covers the electronic buttons, which is not a good sign for durability. I compared its 12 cups volume to my previous carafe and they were similar, so the small-appearing carafe holds as much as my old Mr. Coffee machine with a bigger looking carafe. Coffee tastes fine. Will update this review after a few more uses. Update: the pot handle is not ergonomic, but rather grated towards design, so it’s not particularly comfortable. So far it’s being like a champ and the delayed brew worked!

I love this coffee maker but had to solve some problems
This is a great little coffee maker but Iâm on the 2nd one after all the water leaked out of the bottom again â but this also happened more than a couple times with another brand, too. (After the first leak, I keep every coffee maker in a protective pan to avoid huge water messes) Iâve tried cleaning more often, using citric acid to descale instead of vinegar, but they all leak eventually (anywhere from 5 weeks to 5 months), one after the other, no matter the brand.I finally figured out it must be on my end because of the drinking water I use â home-made distilled but with a lot of trace minerals added back in, and this is what is causing the heavy mineral build-up that makes it leak. The whole point of cleaning is to descale it and get rid of mineral deposits, but even regular cleaning wasnât enough for my heavy load of minerals. So now with this newest Taylor Swoden, Iâve decided to use only pure distilled water completely devoid of any minerals added to it, and Iâll clean every other month as the recommended cleaning cycle. Here are some solutions for the other problems people complained about:1) When you pour water in the tiny space allotted, use a funnel so nothing spills, and put a piece of paper towel on the burner to catch any drips or splashes.2) Also place the paper towel on the burner each time you lift off the carafe to pour into a coffee cup. This will also prevent sizzling and ruining the burner (as a couple people had photos showing).3) Keep the coffee maker inside a shallow protective stainless steel pan â youâll be preventing a huge mess in case it ever leaks! (This model fits perfectly in a 10.5â x 8â x 2â)Hopefully Iâve diagnosed the cause of repeated leaking out the bottom, and using totally mineral-free water will prevent this from happening again! Will update whether this is a success or a failure.

Works as expected. No manual needed to set the clock, set autostart. The dedicated buttons are simple and self-explanatory – there is no dumb programming menu to figure out and fuss with. This is as easy as it gets. The only caveat is that I use this to make tea, and the wide flat basket bottom is not well suited for that (as opposed to the conical ones). But for coffee this is just fine.
