Gets the job done
I received a used item with parts that were chipped. Hence the three stars. However, I kept the item as I did not want to go through the hassle of returning the item.It was very easy to assemble.The platform is bigger than the mattress and the edges stick out. My chins are now undergoing conditioning that are like that of a Muai Thai fighter.What is nice about it however is that its the perfect hight off the ground and allows for a good amount of storage under the bed.

Broken corner attachment.
One of the corner pieces came broken. I kept it because it was a hassle and too big for me to bring anywhere. It is still holding together but has a big crack and will eventually need some fixing. Very disappointing

Sturdy and simple wood bed!
Feels nice and sturdy and appreciate how easy it was to put together with the wood joinery. There was one chip in the wood but not a huge deal since we could put that part at the back up against the wall, would probably bother me if it would have been on one of the side pieces thought. But overall great and the wood color is lovely!

Well worth the money for this quality all wood bed
Very well made and designed. All wood, no screws involved. Full assembly takes about 20 minutes. Everything fits into place. Bed itself weighs in at 78 lbs. Weight capacity of this King size bed is 800 lbs not the usual 500 lbs on the others with screws and cheap wood.Slats are thick and solid connected with strong velcro strips. The legs are big and heavy solid wood not some cheap skinny stuff. It also has a middle support bar with two prop up legs. This bed was a little over my shopping price point but it is worth the extra money. Great quality that will last me until that time comes.Yes I highly recommend this bed.

Potential trip hazard
Frame itself is heavy duty with unique design. Not really sold on the Velcro tape holding the horizontal slats. My biggest concern is that the support legs extend beyond the frame and could be a trip hazard or a really bad stubbed toe event. Especially at night! This is in a guest room so I will always feel I have to make everyone aware of this issue. For our second bedroom we purchased the “Nelye” brand platform from Amazon. Much better design as the legs are slightly recessed under the frame. The wood, horizontal support slats are screwed to the actual frame. More time to assemble but a far better design in my humble opinion. Will be doing a review on that frame
