Honestly Awesome Door Handle.
I’ve had some nosy roommates who like to take visits through my room when I’m at work, so I bought this door handle for a little privacy and fingerprint scanner so I don’t have to carry a key.It works absolutely awesomely, software setup was a little bit tedious, but the actual installation into my door was surprisingly easy, I was able to just do it on my own.As far as I can tell it isn’t WIFI enabled, so don’t buy it for long distance control but the ability to add different fingerprints and codes for different people is pretty awesome. Overall not a crazy amazing fingerprint scanner it works around 70% of the time first try but for the price its awesome.It has anti peeping stuff or whatever so u can add random digits to your password if you don’t want someone peering over to see it which is pretty cool.So far I’ve had it in my door for a little over a week with no issues, it does use AAA batteries which are NOT INCLUDED, so make sure u have at least 4 AAA batteries on hand.Beyond that for the price it’s an awesome smart door handle if you’re looking for fingerprint and nfc tag usability, but don’t care for long distance usage. As far as I can tell there wasn’t any Alexa or smart home integration but it could have been buried in the app so I’m not sure.

They are very easy to install, they work perfectly, I feel very comfortable and safe when using this lock, since in addition to the fingerprint reader, it has cards that make it easier for us to use and having full control from our cell phone through its application makes it even easier more practical

It is a nice quality smart lock. It feels very solid. Love the look! Easy install. It is Super easy to program fingerprints, IC cards and password with Tuya app. It’s very responsive and works flawlessly. I’m very happy with my purchase. I reached out to customer support with a question about how to register IC cards. The tech support got back with me quickly and resolved my concern right away.

Off the opening the package was really neat and the manual was soo easy to understand. The installation was easy peasy and the app is sooooo convinient for when you leave your keys inside. Its very sturdy and the quality is top notch. Honestly 10/10 and would buy again, def a steal for the price.

Love-hate relationship
This door lock has a lot of great features to it. Nice design, fingerprint and password control, hard key, key fob, Tuya app lock and unlock, app notifications. also there is a little button on the inside handle that you can hold down to permanently lock the outside handle or unlock it, which is really convenient. Dollar tree batteries will last for a couple months at a time. These are all things I love about it.Ok we covered the love part. Now the hate part – if you are relying on the fingerprint or password to unlock the door and let you in the house(or wherever you have it installed) there is a 50-50 chance you will be stuck outside, staring at the doorhandle thinking â how am I going to get on now?â I probably have 10 fingerprints programmed of the same thumb and half the time it still doesnât recognize it. You only get like three chances before the system is disabled. And 10 minutes later when it gives you another chance it normally works on the first try. Same ordeal with the passcode. It always gets me when I least expect it.The phone app works every time, even when the keypad and fingerprint reader are disabled.

Good in theory, lacks WIFI
Install was pretty easy if you know what you are doing. The manual is Chinese translated to English so itâs not super clear. The biggest downfall is that it doesnât have WFI!!! The lock and smart phone app is nice that you can remotely unlock the door and get notifications when someone unlocks the door, tampers with the door or pries the door open but all of the notifications only work over Bluetooth (so about 30 ft) which is completely useless in my opinion. It would be nice if I wasnât at home to get alerted of my door opening or being tempered with or being able to remotely open or give access when Iâm at the grocery store⦠nope, doesnât do that. Itâs the first âsmart deviceâ that I have owned that isnât WiFi enabled. Iâll probably return it for another lock.
