Food sticks hard to clean
Since it’s 18/10 stainless steel I thought it would work like other stainless steel products I’ve had but it it doesn’t.. things stick to it and it’s hard to clean. It is a heavyweight item so this surprised me

So much easier to cook some things then round skillets.
Great for bacon. It is easy to clean of prepped a little after you wash it. Just wipe some oil on it, heat a little, and wipe off excess oil. I use Crisco.Don’t use scouring pads as that can put fine cuts in the finish. Treat it like you would cast iron and you will have an almost Teflon like finish after a few uses. I use mine in the oven too for broiling bacon.

Perfect for 4 hamburgers or tortillas for the perfect looking quesadilla!! Very happy with the thickness and weight!!

Well-built mid-range grill pan with some important limitations
The Tramontina 11 inch tri ply grill is one of the few stainless steel grill pans left on the market today. Why might this be important? A grill pan invariably gets very dirty and so being able to throw this into a dishwasher is an important distinguishing factor.The pan I received (end of 2021) was heavy-weight and made in Brazil. The fit and finish were good to excellent. The bolts and molding grill grate were all very well fabricated. Using the pain itself was a breeze, and the heat distribution was indeed both quick and even given the aluminium core.However, this being a mid-range pan, there are some compromises that Tramontina had to make. The most significant being that the stainless steel used appears to be of a lower grade. Not enough chrome and rare earth material in the alloy means that your pan WILL stain just by heating it to grilling temperatures as other reviewers have noted. Crude from cooking also is harder to clean off, since it oxidizes and sticks to the metal surface. Even after running through the dishwasher a few times, quite a bit of residues is still stuck, even in places away from the grates.A minor quibble is that the grates are a little too close together for American standards, creating smaller channels which are harder to clean.Other than these 2 caveats, this is a well-built sturdy grill pan that will serve you well.

Was Skeptical but itâs Great!
At first I was worried about getting this stainless steel pan because I thought it wouldnât do what I needed it to. I was looking for a healthy pan that I could get a nice sear on meats with. I was afraid the ridges wouldnât be enough to make good sear lines but it is perfect! It gets dirty but cleans well when you soak it. The square shape of the pan doesnât distribute heat as nicely as I would like since itâs bigger than my burner, but it gets the job done!

Love Tramontina cookware but beware of Amazon shipping issue
Total five stars for Tramontina’s stainless steel cookware. We have switched all of our cookware in the house over to their products.However, Amazon has the weirdest thing with shipping them, and I don’t think it has anything to do with Tramontina. Every Tramontina shipment we purchased through Amazon shipped just fine but then had an issue. Most of them Amazon lost the tracking, item didn’t get delivered on time, and then you get the unexpected delay and you can get a refund notice. They all finally arrived but way off times suggested. One purchase got delivered right on time but it was for a Tramontina item that was on a different order. Had to call customer service about that issue several times and they were even confused on what their system did.Anyways, definitely worth the purchase but don’t buy it here if you are under a time crunch

Heavy and lovely
this pan is fantastic – it cooks chicken beautifully, is nice and heavy and clean up is a snap. Being a very nice/good grade of stainless steel? It cleaned very easy, very little scrubbing needed. This is one very, very impressive pan!!! Excellent, wish there was a 10 star rating as this would qualify for sure!
