Assembly is time consuming
Assembly is a big time nightmare. It took 3 hours for my husband to assemble it. After certain point, instructions get confusing. The screw bores are not properly aligned. At the base, there was a good 0.5 cm gap left between the slabs which ruins the look.There were scratch marks and dents at multiple areas. I wish I could just go back and return it

I love the table, it’s gorgeous and well-made. Assembly was awful, though. It looked like it was going to be easy, but most of the screws are badly placed so that it’s awkward to screw them in. At one step, there were 32 screws like this. As a result, a 15-20 minute job took almost 2 hours.Recommend assembling the frame before attaching the top, it doesn’t fully solve the problem but makes it a bit easier for some of the screws.Problem could solved by changing the order of the steps and moving the screw holes further from the cross posts.

Nice table, terrible to build
Table is just fine. Sturdy, looks good, perfect size.The assembly was terrible in a few parts, notably the last steps, it has you screwing in stuff on a flat surface with no angle for the wrench they provide to screw it in, used an impact for most of it but had to use the wrench for these parts and spent an hour just slowly screwing in like 10 bolts. Complete waste of time and could be much easier to build.

Not bad for the price
The assembly is not the simplest but cheap furniture like this never is. I think it look nice for the price, it is very sturdy and has a unique style. It will come with some scratches on the black panels, but I colored them in with a sharpie (can’t tell from afar).I did think the wood finish would come a bit darker than it is but it’s fine, nonetheless. Would recommend.
