Economy shag rug for home use
I bought the 5 foot by 8 foot rug size. This rug was shipped in a small box and the entire rug itself is very light weight. I use this rug in my bedroom. The grey shag material on top is soft, fluffy and attractive. The backing material that secures the carpet is not non skid as stated in the ad.This rug would be better suited as something you would place on carpet and not tile flooring. I have plastic tiles on my bedroom floor and this rug is sliding all over the place. This grey shag rug gets excellent marks for being attractive, fluffy and having something comfortable you can sit on. The thin, very lightweight backing material on this rug causes it to slide around excessively. The price on this rug is a great deal on the Amazon website but if you need a non slip rug to use on tile flooring you will probably need to buy a heavier duty rug.

It’s fine for the price
We got the 5×8 size in grey to cover our car in the garage because we have rescue cats in the garage who walk on the car and we wanted to protect the pain. For $25 it is a great deal and perfect for our (unusual) needs, but this is not a typical area rug and so those looking for a more typical area rug would likely be displeased. It is VERY lightweight, very slippery soft, and does not have much to it. So it is not a solid floor covering that a typical rug would be, but maybe that’s ok with you. It’s fine with us: it’s a great lightweight car cover. ð¤£The offgassing smell is pretty intense, so definitely give it several days to air out, ideally outside.

Bad rug
Just to be forward, this rug is self flimsy. It sheds everywhere. Definitely would not recommend purchasing. Bottom of it has no grip. Youâre better off just laying a blanket on the floor.
