Everything the reviews said about this product was accurate. These anti slip felt pads are easily the best I have bought. They are sturdy, they grip well without leaving a residue on the floors and the rugs don’t move at all. They have been perfect for my 14 year old dog who has mobility problems. She can lie on any rug and they don’t move when she moves. That safety for my dog is so important.

As advertised and works great under my carpet. Thin enough to lift the carpet but hold in place. Adds a teeny amount of cushion as well.

I had a carpet that always slipped underneath your feet when you walked across it quickly, which is a safety hazard. I threw down one of these non-slip maps, and I can literally take a running start and jump onto the carpet and it doesn’t move.I also checked after a week underneath the pad and the hardwood floor, and no marks left.

Potentially dangerous
Update: still holds the rug nicely, but leaves the floor dangerously slippery when you take the pad up. So, if youâre like me where you may move, or remove, the rug you are using this under, BE CAREFUL.I have tried everything to keep a rug by my back door from slipping all over the place, and balled up in the corner of the room. I have a woven rug that would become a jumbled mess every 5 minutes. When my dogs stepped on it, it would slide about 3 feet away from the door, if they played near it, Iâd be lucky if I found the rug in the same room. And then the other factor, kids. Anyway, I used double sided tape, these rubbery corner stoppers, those mats that look like cabinet liners, everything. Hesitantly, I purchased this, and omg the rug gods have come down and blessed us with a not just adhesion but some cushion. This rug now goes, no where now, I could cry!

Rug pad keeps rug in place, easy to cut. Perfect!
Love this rug pad. I needed one for our hallway runner and kitchen rug, by the sink. We have solid stand bamboo in the hallway and cork in the kitchen. We didnt need extra padding, we just needed non slip. This pad is perfect for both. I was worried that with kids and a dog and the kitchen sink that water would cause latex backed pads to disintegrate and possibly damage the floors. This pad has little dots of a clear rubbery material that doesnt look like it will do any damage to the floors. The dots are on both sides, so it “sticks” to the floor and the rug. I bought one big pad and cut it to fit both rugs. It was super easy to cut with standard not so sharp scissors. It was easy to lay flat with the rug on top. I just laid the rug on top of the pad, with acouole inches of the rug past the edge of the pad and traced around the rug. Then cut the pad along the traced line. The pad ended up about an inch smaller on each side than the rug, which is what i wanted so the pad wont show. The rugs dont even budge. Perfect!

Provides great friction
I cannot definitely speak to how it would work under carpets since I did not use it for that, but I suspect it would work well enough for that. I put a sheet of this non-stick felt pad in between two (stacked) small, but stable, wooden bookcases. This product works great. It was easy to cut and thin enough so that it is not visible. (Being dark gray also helps with that.) The product came quickly.

No grip
I received this pad yesterday and have adjusted it countless times already. No grip whatsoever on either my carpet or bottom of the rug. Will return.
