Platform bed frame satisfied customer.
I’m always skeptical when ordering things based on description. New bed frame was delivered, the box was tattered and torn but frame inside not damaged. Put together very easily, All parts were labeled and included. Center crossbars fit snuggly, and required a little slap of the hand to snap them into place. Bed frame is very sturdy with closely spaced bars and supports my 280 pound body and a 14 inch queen size mattress. I definitely would recommend this bed frame. I haven’t had any problems in the last two weeks sleeping on it. Included in the box was a nice ratchet system, which made installing the screws, holding the frame together very easy.Note: I ordered the new style frame which claimed to have improvements.

Bed did not even withstand a 140 LBS teen – 3500 LBS RUBBISH!
This is completely false advertising. the outrageous claim that this bed frame holds 3500 LBS is complete nonsense, and they should be ashamed that they advertise this. I put this together on Sunday 3/22. it took about an hour (not difficult just need to follow instructions with no written directions just pic, but fine, not too hard (did it solo). This is for my Autistic son who weighs about 140 lbs. Thought it would be a nice solid frame that would hold up for some time. It is now only Wednesday 3/25 (3 nights) and this cheap metal frame is bent on the side and three of the support bars are completely bent. I took pics to show. This is ridiculous. How in the world can they say it holds 3500 LBS (maybe for 30 seconds before it breaks. I can’t imagine 2 larger adults using this frame and not breaking it (especially if they are doing any wild thing). Save your money. We will see if anybody reaches out to me about this. I deserve a full refund! Bad Quality Product and misleading advertising.

“Aesthetics nice overall and assembly fairly easy”…
UPDATE:We are big fans of “riding low” versus our old sky-high mattress. The height is perfect for riding low and storage. I placed storage zipper bags underneath with all our storage. While these are not firm bags and stable like our former plastic ones, I did not want our old ones scratching up the nice new bed frame. So, it is working out regardless.The frame is sturdy and handles my wife’s 102 pounds plus my 185 pounds and the new king (Eastern) hybrid mattress of approximately 180 pounds. It handles these 467 pounds just fine and feels very stable. Of course we are not falling into bed, dive bombing it or jumping on it like teenagers.The REVIEW:I was directed to frames like this by a trustworthy mattress salesman. He said people on a budget tend to opt for these versus traditional box springs.I especially was drawn to the LOW profile and MODERN aesthetics.Be careful during assembly with the mini ratchet tool. If you do not line up the bolts well when you hand tighten them in place you may strip one or two when trying to ratchet tighten them. They are not the greatest quality of steel so be aware. Fortunately, they include a secondary hex key type tool in case the ratchet tool fails you.QUALITY of the matte black powder coated frame is around an A-. There are a few minor imperfections, but they are unlikely to ever be noticed.The VALUE is good and especially good if you catch it on sale.SIZE is perfect for my (Eastern) KING mattress.I used to write procedure manuals on a job, and this is not the best. It is all about visuals without words basically. As a result, it caters to visual learners more than readers. Thankfully they label the parts well, so it really is not tough even for a less talented assembler like me.AESTHETICS is very solid here and I love that it is matte. Ideally, I would rather have a matte silver or matte charcoal gray, but it is nice regardless. The low-profile look makes our ceilings look even higher and I like sleeping lower to the ground.The DURABILITY feels and seems solid overall. I did have the wife assist me to slide the bed into place carefully because those edge stoppers are plastic. There are other plastic parts which I was less thrilled about for my 182 pounds and the wife’s 102 pounds I think we are good.Our new mattress arrives soon, and I cannot wait to experience a hybrid on this new frame.

Sturdy, easy assembly
Just received today. I started initial assembly while hubby was at work. Got it organized and parts were well labeled and I was able to make out the directions. I am plus size, my hubby is 225. We do have bunky boards as I can’t stand a soft mattress but this feels extremely sturdy. Love the fact that it came with side pieces to keep mattress secure. My last “heavy duty” bed frame welding broke in 1 place, after barely a year. On this 1, the slats are closer together which, you could easily see, was going to help it be more sturdy. If I don’t update the review, everything is still great!

This frame is nice and solid and sturdy! Very easy to put together! Simple and sturdy and strong is how I would describe this frame!I might be buy another one for my other room!
