Surprisingly Great
This king size bed frame is surprisingly great. The components are better quality that the price suggests. We bought it because it was cheap and I don’t want a headboard. The mechanism that lifts the bed does a good job. We bought the Kirkland Signature Stearns & Foster Lakeridge pillowtop mattress from Costco, which is pretty heavy at around 200 lbs. It’s a bit hard for my wife to lift the mattress for the first 18″, but beyond that the gas-spring assist is pretty good and even holds the bed up on it’s own. The mechanism pulls the head of the bed away from the wall when it is lifted so the bed can be placed close to the wall.It took me less than 3-hrs to put it together, working at a leisurely pace. The assembly felt faster because the instructions were clear, all the pieces were clearly identified, and everything fit together perfectly. It comes with a little wrench and a hex key, which are the only tools needed to put it together. The reason the assembly takes a while is that there are a lot of bolts to fasten, which is fine because they all go into embedded nuts that were all aligned well.I don’t typically write reviews, but this bed frame was good enough that I felt it was worth the time to review what is genuinely a good and well designed product.

Just what I needed for storage
I like the color and the material of the box, wonderful storage space, I would buy it again! The unit came without a pull strap that’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. We will make and install our own.
