I honestly bought these because of TikTok lol all the matcha girlies had made them look so good with matcha and I was influenced but after getting them I must say I have no regrets! I use these for the occasional matcha and mainly for storage! It keeps my brown sugar fresh and soft, I store powders, liquids with no issue too.

I use it to feed my starter, which I keep very small (unless I know I’m going to bake). I keep a 5g starter+25g water+25g flour. It’s perfect for that size. Works great for 10-50-50 as well but bigger than that, it’ll be a mess 🙂

Great jars for sourdough starters
I found this set of jars after trying several others for feeding my sourdough starter. I love these jars because they are very sturdy and have a wide opening and straight sides, making them easy to clean. The size is great – They’re not too tall and narrow. The thickness of the glass is helpful for maintaining temperature.Using the lid / gasket / metal clips for the lid take a little bit of fiddling, but once you get the hang of it, I actually like them better than the typical mason jar lids.

These are pricier compared to the actual weck jar site. Anyways, i just got them and they came unbroken so Im satisfied.
