Simplifies repetitive, accurate holes.
The more I learn how to use this product, the more I appreciate it. The drill press is made of high quality materials with the fence and table very helpful once dialed in to the job. The provided stop blocks allow quick repetitive and accurate cuts for the chairs that I make. It creates confidence that parts will fit precisely together. The power of a drill press this size is impressive for hard and soft wood. Speed adjustments are simple to make. By taking your time it’s easy to reduce or eliminate burn marks I’ve begun using this press to make joinery and appreciate the easy cleanup relative to using a router. The sacrificial plate in the table is easily replaceable and helps reduce tear out. The accuracy is far superior to a hand held drill and lining up repetitive cuts has saved me hours. The cost is also a plus. My recommendation, if you are a hobbyist or have a small woodshed, this press will upgrade your quality and speed up your builds.

Good price
Fast service. Works great. Very happy with the product. Very easy to assemble. Took me 5 minutes in front of the TV. Light enough to move around , but heavy enough it won’t move while working. Size is perfect for small to large shop.

Perfect Imperfection
Tolerances are loose, build quality leaves plenty to desire, and itâs got some quirks, but if you take you time to set it up right, tweak & adjust, and provide yourself a stable & level bench to mount to; it is an amazingly consistent & capable tool. It can run for hours and does not put out a lot of heat or get wonky from hundreds of drills. Would recommend for the novice to amateur. Great item to start with & plenty of capability.

Decent quality, power questionable
The overall quality is good, and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. I would say for small jobs this desktop unit is great, but for more demanding jobs, I would look for a unit with more power. I needed this to cut round paddle-bit holes in wood and if you put too much downforce pressure the head will jam. Just be patient and it will work if you apply less pressure. Overall good for household, not great for larger jobs.

Better than expected
Impressive bench top drill press. Instructions are easy to follow had it assembled in less than 10 minutes. More time to unpack than to assemble. Lot of protective foam so no damages. Have got drills straight and speed change is easy compared to others I have used. It functions better tan I expected for the size of unit.

Amazing Value for the Money
I used to do fine woodworking and I owned a 10 inch Delta floorstanding drill press, so I am fully aware of the limitations of the WEN 4206T benchtop drillpress. For example, if you need to run a 2″ diameter forstner bit, then this is NOT the drill press for you. However if you intend to use it for occasional light duty residential work, you can’t get a better value for the Money!!! The quality is surprisingly good. It was easy to assemble, and it worked exactly as expected. For the same price as some VSR hand drills, you can have a drill press !!!

Like ok
Nice small drill press. Ele motor not excessively strong but works fine so far. Like the drill size it fits in the limited space in the shop. Had good luck so far with Win products. Good for home use.If Iâd change one thing Iâd have a slow speed as an option. I also ordered the drill press with the mini vice which I installed but no bolts are included which seemed strange and very inconvenient. The vise is very strong for small projects. Tks

Surprisingly high quality for the price.
This thing is solid and stable. Only minor complaint is the retraction is a bit much and will snap back if you let go. So, hold on tight and drill baby!!

Originally I did not want something this big or expensive. I want to drill through 15mm square tubing and thin steel plate. But as looked at reviews of smaller hobby drill presses for crafting perhaps or the ones that looked like a 1/2′ drill built into a drill press frame, I came to realize that they all operate at a high rpm and the one that looks like the vertical 1/2″ drill is quite noisy. So I reluctantly purchased this larger unit.It is built like a traditional drill press with a pully system for changing speeds. One notable plus; the substantial chuck is not quite full size and easily grips small drill bits, better that some hand drills that I have owned. Another big plus is that the drill is very, very quiet and smooth.Things I did not know before purchasing: very fine steel wool is needed to prep the tapered chuck before it is hammered into place (not a big deal). The drill press should be bolted down. For my uses I setup my Work-Mate on the balcony and have drilled a couple of holes in it to better suit the 1/2′ bolts used to hold it down. Also, the drill press vise that was included with my unit at a price lower than the regular price of the drill, also needs to be bolted to the drill press’ table. So I purchased the necessary bolts, nuts, washers to do all this, and now the whole setup for this takes 5 minutes.Up until now, I’ve used it for the purposes stated above, but today I gave it a bigger challenge: cutting ten 5/32″ holes in 1/2″ and 5/8″ mild steel plates. I used a dab of cutting paste to lube the drill bit a couple of times for each hole. The cutting was easy and accurate, and the drill bit was cutting just as easy on the last hole as the first. I used the recommended pulley setup for this, 750 rpm. I bet the systems that operate at several times that speed would overheat the drill bits and themselves…..
