[UPDATE] Requesting a replacement part directly from the seller
This is an update to the comment I made below right after I received this item:I contacted the seller regarding the damaged table top, and I received an response quickly informing me that the replacement was requested and order forwarded to the shipping department.After that, I received another email informing that the item was shipped. It took over a week because I live outside of the mainland US, it’s not unusual.I received the replacement table top last night, it was very very nicely packaged, and in perfect condition.No split, no scratch, just a nice brand new table top. I appreciate the seller’s attention and swift action.This morning, I assembled it. I’ve made more than enough DIY furniture before, and this is one of the easiest for sure. It comes with the wrench, so what you need are screwdriver to attach table top to the body, and hummer to push in those decorative plugs.Instruction is simple enough, and all the parts and screws fit fine. The only struggle I had was to align tabletop to the body in order for screws to go thru because it’s hard to see the guiding hole on the back of the table top.I used a marking tape, and also, pre-screw the holes on the tabletop so they get a bit bigger which makes it easier to locate when you actually put the screws in. (you will see what i mean when you get to that).But overall, it’s very sturdy and easy to assemble. one-person job within one hour. Quality is good, especially for the price you pay. It’s not a show-off piece, but simple, convenient, and well designed. I think it’s a good buy.Customer service is great so that’s a big plus.______ original review _____________________I just received this item. I opened the box and the first thing I took out was the drop-leaf top. I inspected it and noticed immediately that the table top has a rather large split all the way through the board’s end.This is a folding table top, and the 2 boards are already attached by 2 folding metal plate pieces screwed on. As you can see on the pictures, the split was most likely made when these plates were screwed into the board. Split runs all the way long and it does go all the way thick meaning you can see the split from the top and the bottom.This means the board will fall off in no time. I considered filling the gap with glue to reinforce but when i saw the split/gap on the top side, I gave up on that idea.The rest of the parts look fine even though i still keep them nicely packaged. I just requested the seller to send me the drop-leaf top only so that i can still assemble and start using this item.The product looks good, and damage like this can happen to wood material so if this inconvenience is remedied quickly enough, i will still give the seller good rate. I will update when i hear back from them.

Versatile little table.
I enjoyed the table and use it everyday. The table is one of the first few items I purchased for my new apartment. I have used the set as a make shift TV stand by using the two stools prior to a proper TV stand would arrive. You can definitely get creative on how you can use the set, and itâs not perfect but as a portable office zoom call table, late night rolling drink caddy, cooking island for the kitchen, amazon package opening station, and a rolling dim sum cart for laughs with guests.The size is great for small apartments and is quite sturdy considering itâs small frame and rinky-dink hardware. The assembly is not too difficult, but the only problem I had was with one of the stools. One of the stool legs was not drilled out properly (must have been two minutes before quitting time at the factory), so I had to create a new hole for one of the assembly bolts.Overall this is a good product. The set is not an antique quality piece from a fancy furniture store, but for what you get and paid for â Itâs two thumbs up and a big toe.

I purchased this Winsome Space Saver for our small space kitchen a little over two months ago, and for the most part I feel like it suits our needs well. I have limited counter space, so, in addition to using this as a table, I roll it into the kitchen and use it as an extra surface area for meal prep, and it works really well for that. Winsome Space Saver with 2 Stools, Square The overall design I love, however it it not the sturdiest table I have owned, I don’t know that it is what I would necessarily deem overly-kid-sturdy, but the stools can accommodate a surprising 200 pounds, so that’s a plus.âï¸ WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT âï¸âï¸ THE DESIGN — The overall design couldn’t be more well-thought-out and practical. It is as useful as it is compact, and the two drawers and bonus towel rack are certainly a nice addition.âï¸ VERSATILE & FUNCTIONAL It is also a great place for the kids to do their homework, and we roll it into the living room as a buffet area for snacks and drinks on movie nightâï¸ STURDY STOOLS — Their height is comfortable when used by both adults and children. The stools slide in and out of the storage mounts easily and freely and are just the right height, making it easy for both adults and children to easily maneuver in and out of the storage slots underneath the table.âï¸ EASY ASSEMBLY — Assembly was easy enough It took my 20 year old son about 30 minutes to assemble this on his own. I suggest using your own tools as the one provided is not of the greatest quality.ð CONS:ðâï¸ POOR QUALITY WHEELS —The wheels are made of black plastic that is, and looks, cheap. Only one set of the wheels lock. Ideally it would be nice if they were made of a sturdier, nicer looking material, and if both sets locked.âï¸ DROP LEAF — The drop leaf could stand to be better supported. There is one smaller, wooden, rod underneath the middle of the table that supports the drop leaf, two would be ideal for added security.ââ THE BOTTOM LINE ââ Overall, for the price-point this table is a good choice for a space-saver and a great design. This is an excellent little table. It is wonderful for small spaces, and very useful everyday. The quality of the wood and design are very good. It was well packaged, and arrived in perfect condition. It’s a beautiful and useful addition to our small kitchen. The stools are sturdy and useful and the drawers are great for storing the clutter we usually leave on the table. We are very pleased with the table, once I got it completely assembled. However, this could have been made to be far easier to assemble. The instructions could be better. Not much written instructions, mostly diagrams, leaving out some information that would have been helpful. None of the pieces are marked for identification, such as piece A or B as referred to in the instructions. I advise you to use your own tools, and you will need a ratchet or a power driver. If you try to put it together using the hex key provided, you will ruin your hands. If you take your time and don’t try to rush it, you will have a sturdy, highly functional piece of furniture.

Easy to assemble and looks good, only lost a star as not sure how robust the wood will be once it starts to be used on a regular basis as it seems on the soft side so could dent and mark easily, time will tell. For now though very happy with the item.

So this item literally arrived at my door 28 hours after I purchased it. First impression was stellar considering it was free shipping. After opening the box, I was happy that all the pieces were intact, no chips. Very good condition.The instructions were very clear, simple to put together, only tool you need is a Screwdriver. The HEX key works great for the other screws.the colour of the table is exactly as advertised. People complaining that it is too dark can stain it themselves. Google the colour “teak” that’s what you get.It saves me so much space in my small 2 bedroom suite. Its perfect to clean around due to the wheels that just allow the table to quickly move so I can clean under it. The stools are a little tiny, but sturdy. The drawers aren’t flimsy and can actually be used often.This table is perfect for any college student or somebody who doesn’t need a grand fancy dining table. just something to occasionally eat, maybe read a newspaper and have a coffee. It’s incredibly space effective which is important when your living in something less than 1000 sq ft.Super Impressed, I hope this product lasts.

Very easy to put together. Would be easier with 2 people but possible with 1. Love the color and it looks great.
