Finish has Scratches and Gouged area
I ordered 2 of these in the Black. One came in perfect condition. And one came with the finish scratched and gouged out down to silver colored metal. Poor quality control. Otherwise, very easy and quick to assemble. Medium weight metal parts and nice looking simple console.

Poor manufacturing
UPDATE: I contacted Amazon and they sent out a whole new unit at no cost, it arrived in two days and we had no problem assembling it. It was still a pain in the neck to deal with all this, but I am happy with Amazon’s service in making it right, so I changed this review from one to four stars. This is a nice looking piece, if had been correctly manufactured. There are three shelves and therefore three black metal frames. The top one has 8 holes in it which are used to screw it into the supports. Well, on the top frame, the holes were drilled incorrectly and were too small to accept the included screws, and they appeared to have no threads. This box weighed a ton, so we did not want to deal with returning it after we had unpacked every single piece. There was zero information included as to the manufacturer, so no one to call to ask for a new, properly drilled shelf frame. After two visits to the hardware store, we found screws that we thought would work, only to come home and find that they worked on about half the holes. The holes were just a mess, we had three different sizes of screws and ended up with a combination of screws, 3M double sided tape and electrical tape to hold it all together. The lower shelves and screws worked perfectly. If the manufacturer sees this review and would send me a new top level frame, I’d be happy, but I have no way of reaching out to them. I’d say buyer beware on this one.
