Very sturdy!
I bought this because of the thickness of the arms that support the foldout table. The table is awesome, but it can pinch your fingers if you lift the table from the middle. The smaller âsupport tableâ can wedge your hand against the surface youâre lifting up on. Despite my minor concerns with this table, the price is more than fair for the quality. Assembly is simple, it feels sturdy, and the materials are very aesthetically pleasing! My main concern is the corners are sharper than a Roman spear! I would rate this 4.4 out of 5.

Nice table but difficult assembly
This table was exactly what I was looking for! It is a good size and multifunctional. The assembly was horrible though. I live alone and therefore had no help with assembly. The body part was fine however the top part that makes the table lift up was horrible. The spots where it shows you screw in were not fully prescrewed or open. It requires a lot of hand strength since you have to do it by hand because a drill doesnât work in some angles. If you need to save a buck then itâs fine, just know that you get what you pay for and that saving will show up with a difficult assembly. The top piece also came scratched. Not a gigantic one but I noticed it while unpacking and because it was such a pain to put on I just colored it in with a marker because I was over it at that point.

Perfect multifunctional coffee table!
This table is well made and very sturdy. The color is a very dark brown, almost black. The top opens easily with the use of two hands and lowers gently. I feel it would be very difficult to pinch fingers, but with any hinges, there is always a chance.As for the building of the table, I would say it was 4 out of 5 difficult because of the tiny screws that hold the top of the table to the hinge lift. My advice is to pre drill each hole with the screws. This will create a larger hole to find when in the tight space. Also the screw will insert so much easier.All in all, definitely recommend to anyone who might not have room for a dining room table or just want some extra table space.

Looks good and is useful
My husband and I often have dinner in front of the TV. This adjustable table is easy to use and then put away. Pretty easy to put together too.

This is a great table
Very sturdy piece of furniture. Time consuming to put together, but not difficult. I have 4 starts because the finish is definitely going to start chipping off ate some use. When both sides are up the table is real enough to eat around with chairs.

Great coffee table, with one huge caveat
First things first: This is a nice coffee table.BUT… this product will take you on a hero’s journey. It will make you question both your intelligence and your sanity. If you’re putting this together with a friend or partner or family member, you will question your relationship. If you’re putting this together with your dad, drop a piece of the wood on your toe. Break your foot. Pretend to have a seizure. Do anything you can to get out of putting this together with your dad.You’ll need a strong man (or woman or non-binary person that always volunteered when teachers asked for a “strong guy” to move some chairs) to get the package into your place; this thing is HEAVY.Once you begin to put it together, you will go through the five stages of grief. You’ll begin by naively thinking that the other reviewers were wrong. It’s a table, how hard could it be? As time goes on, you’ll begin to realize that we were right. You will HATE this coffee table. You will be filled with so much regret and rage that you won’t be able to think of anything else. You may give in and decide to return it. Or you may steel yourself and begin to climb Mount Doom. To those who decide to put this coffee table together, against all odds: I believe in you. This is your moment. This is character-building. This is your origin story.You will contort your body into demonic, godforsaken positions to screw in the tiniest screws you have ever seen in your life. You will be shocked by the sheer weight of each hunk of wood; Beatrice Kiddo herself couldn’t punch her way through a single piece of it. You will repeatedly misplace the stupid little tool that comes with all the stupid little screws. Your living room floor will be strewn with a bunch of big pieces of wood and tons of those stupid little screws. You will not have enough space to do this. Perfect for small apartment
I live alone and decided to get this in place of a dining table to maximize my space. I use the dining table feature with guests and for sewing projects. The storage underneath I keep my sewing supplies in. This was one of the only convertible coffee tables that featured the extra leaf to make a giant square whereas the others did not provide that option. Iâm really glad I found this one as itâs been a staple in my home.I will say putting it together there were a few places where things didnât line up but I was able to make it work. That didnât bother me so much as I had tools nearby to help but if I didnât I wouldâve been very frustrated. I bought this knowing itâs not going to be top quality and being what the price is you get what you pay for. I think people forget how much quality products are these days.Anyways- this product serves its purpose, Iâm happy I found and purchased, and it looks great in my space!

Broken and missing pieces
I was really excited about this coffee table but, when I started putting it together I realized I was missing two pieces, 1 of the being the middle wood piece that supports the big table part.I ended up being able to put it together I just canât fold it out to a full table which was the whole point of buying this thing!!!The lighting does not work at all either. Remote showed up bent and none of the buttons wor.
