YoLink provides great customer support
My review is about this lock and YoLink customer service. I have several YoLink devices and have on occasion had to contact customer service for technical questions/Issues and they have always been great.I installed this lock and unfortunately it had a mechanical defect. I contacted customer support via email and explained my issue. They asked me to email a short video of what the lock was doing and they quickly determined that it was defective. I provided my order number and shipping address and received a new lock in 3 days via FedEx. The new lock works great and am very happy with it except for one issue. The lock uses autolock and that feature is not allowed to be shut off. I contacted customer service and found out that some modifications are underway to resolve this issue. YoLink devices are easy to add and setup and I have received great customer support and highly recommend them.

A great lock, that could be even better except for one thing – You can’t disable auto lock
Iâm a big fan of YoLink products and currently have over 130 devices in my home. I integrate them with Home Assistant (HA), and while they are cloud-based, that hasnât been an issue for me. This lock is the second version of a YoLink lock Iâve installed; I also have their older silver model on a couple of doors (link: https://a.co/d/dxaqrj0.The) older locks lack auto-lock functionality and donât include features like fingerprint access, key fobs, and other options the newer version offers. However, I like that the locks can be scheduled for interior doors, and Iâm hopeful YoLink will enhance this feature in future updates.I did encounter an issue during installation, but after emailing support, they promptly provided a solution. Iâm sharing that information here for anyone who might find it helpful.”Please refer to the picture below and verify the installation of the lock. Ensure that the small circular dot is aligned in the same direction as the door handle. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.”

Yolink Smart Lever Door Lock
These lever door locks are awesome, so many ways to unlock, even has temporary codes available and the distance from the YoLink Hub is unbelievable, nothing will compare to it. Lots of options in the app to set it to your preferences. Highly recommend all YoLink products, you won’t be disappointed.

Quit working after 1 week and customer support does not respond
REALLY wanted to like it, was super excited when they released it. However, it is horrible. Quit working after 1 week. Even while working it is pretty much worthless, as there is no way to turn off the autolock feature, so it will always automatically lock. You cannot manually leave it unlocked for more than three minutes.

Great product so far
It arrived early. While reading the descriptions online I couldn’t find anything saying the handle was reversible. So I took a change and ordered it anyways. I was happy to find that with just one screw the handle can easily be reversed. I actually got a couple of these. I’m installing one on an outside door. Unless I update this review assume it went well and is holding up just fine. If I think about it I’ll try to remember to update this.

Lot’s of nice features, a few quirks and quibbles
(Purchased on YoLink site) I’m writing this the same evening that I installed the lock so I will update if anything changes with further use.Pros – design looks very nice and modern, seems well built and sturdy, offers a wide variety of methods for access (fingerprint, code, IC card, YoLink fob, physical key), temporary codes, etc.Cons – the install instructions are not the best. Some confusing diagrams and poor wording made the process far more difficult than it needed to be. An extra un-referenced spring (or “sprung” as the instructions call it) was included so I just used the slightly longer one of the two and it seems to work as intended. The auto-lock feature is nice to have but as far as I can tell, activation is limited to a time range between 2 seconds and 3 minutes, and more annoyingly doesn’t seem to be disabled even temporarily.Not Sure About – the lock talks to you, which is not mentioned in the literature. Could get annoying but it is possible to mute in the app. It would be nice to be able to choose between the voice and a chime instead.
