Great fan!
This fan looks amazing! The glass was broken when it was received and they had excellent customer service and sent us another glass piece at no additional cost. It was easy enough to install. My only complaint is that the fan doesnât work with the wall switch, we have to use the remote to turn it on. This may be more user error than an issue with the product. The light also beeps every time we turn it on and we canât figure that one out. Overall, great product that looks really amazing!

Too much wires, too little space; otherwise, great fan
Got this fan for the master bath since i have weak AC fans needed the extra PUSH power.Pros:-Looks; it’s an attractive fan-Runs quiet-Decent remote that’s not TINY, but is thin so you can easily mount it between the light switch and door frame.Cons:-TOO MUCH WIRE, yes you could cut it down to size, strip the ends, use a butt-joint or a splicing kit to make the wire smaller, this is made more annoying since in order to use the remote you have to keep the connectors intact still to plug into their remote kit. SO, you could take the extra steps to trim the wires down, or leave the wires as long as they are and just have fun trying to shove all of that into a tiny space. This non-standard wiring model also makes it confusing to convert this to the traditional 3-wire model. There’s 2 wires for the light, so I assume one is live and one is negative, and then 4 wires for the fan, don’t know if each wire = 1 speed, so don’t know if you could splice the 3 wires together and then combine the negative from the fan connector to the light connector to the negative on most remotes and that might work. WHO KNOWS. Might be in the instruction booklet, since I would love to put one of the mini transmitters I bought recently that have just been amazing, especially with these flush mount fans.-Non-standard (for American) downrod, this isn’t the Harbor Breeze or Hunter/Casablanca thick downrod this is the thinner one, which not an issue for “Safety” reason, just an issue if you need or want a longer downrod. I think the “CRAFTMADE” brands will work. Since I did order a 6in in that brand once for my Hunter fans and they were much thinner than the hunter downrod which would have meant I’d have to modify my hunter fan, instead I went to the Hunter site and bought a six in from that site. So “CRAFTMADE” seems to be a good company to go with if you need longer downrods.-One major annoying thing about these Chinese/Asian fan companies is that they’re very ANTI-Pull cords. This is the third Chinese/ASIAN one I bought and they all HEAVILY, HEAVILY rely on the reomotes. Which with the CJOY and the other one isn’t a problem since they both adhere to the 3-Wire model, meaning if you lose the remote for it, you can buy a whole new remote box kit and wire it just fine.Note:-When installed from an 8ft ceiling, there’s about 6ft 5in of clearance under the light box for people to walk under. Which for me, is fine, for my brother, might be a problem. THOUGH that light box is like 5in tall so the blades are about 6′ 10″ from the ground. Conclusion:Besides having to really wrestle wires into a cramped space, I must say, this is a nice fan, but it will be put to the test for humidity this whole summer and then winter when I turn the thermostat up on my water heater. Luckily that bathroom does have an active dehumidifier since my house is a tad drafty and I live in the south on the gulf coast.

Beautiful fan. Goes right along with the farmhouse decor we are switching over to.
We bought this fan as a part of our switching out our light fixtures and fans to a little more farmhouse style. Received the fan and my husband mounted it but found when he went to put bulbs in that one side of the light assemble had a crack and would not hold the light bulb or let it make a connection to light up. I contacted Amazon (my husband did not want to have to take the entire thing down) and they put me in touch with the seller, who promptly returned my message. After a few messages and a picture of the broken area, they said they would ship another light assembly. Being the skeptic that I am, I figured we would never see it. But then I got a tracking number and within a week amd a half or so the part arrived. Attached the new light assembly and it’s good to go. Great customer service on the part of this company. Note- we did not use the glass globe as all the other new light fixtures that we put up were open cage style. The fan is very quiet and the remote is a nice feature.

Reciever stopped working after 1 month
The product looks great, however after one month the reciever for the remote stopped working. I cannot find a replace nor can I get help from the seller. The fan is mounted on a high ceiling so fixing or replacing this will not be easy.

4 months old and giving problems
The fan looks nice but 4 months into having it, we are having issues. I’m currently up at 2:00 am because all night long it started to beep and make knocking sounds. It does it a few times and then is back to normal, but it has done it about 5 or 6 times tonight.

Not to easy to assemble but worth it
Easy assembly until the remote motor . Super quiet, works great

Is good for the price but if your ceiling is on a slant (the instructions say the slant can be as much as 20 per cent) it is very difficult to get the cowling on. Also because the light fixture is held onto the fan by a thin pole the light wobbles when the higher speeds on the fan are used.

I absolutely love this fan. The only thing I would change was the glass in the cage catches all the dust and even a couple of flies. Easy fix was to remove the glass from the cage. I love it even more now !
