Excellent Quality, Super Price
Beautiful wood, very sturdy, easy to assemble, looks great in our guest room. We paid Amazon $20 extra to have it delivered right to our door, and the package was so heavy, it was totally worth it. Overall, excellent price for a very high quality platform bed frame. Highly recommended.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, nice finish
Super easy to put together – I did it by myself in about an hour! Instructions are easy and not too many parts. Just make sure you put the headboard support beam the right way (with the center notch connector higher) otherwise you’ll have to reassemble it later to get it to line up with the footboard.It’s super sturdy and heavy duty. It feels really solid and the pieces are all solid wood and heavy, being bolted together it doesn’t creak at all.I like how the slats have prongs and Velcro to attach into to lock into place, as well as a light adhesive on 2 of them so the mattress doesn’t slide either.I can fit some under bed storage units I found on Amazon too, which works great and now I can put my winter clothes away. Definitely enough storage underneath.I also just like the Carmel color of it. The finish is nice. I’m really impressed with the quality for the money.On a random note, I LOVED how the Styrofoam was wrapped in plastic so you didn’t get little pellets around your house. Such a small detail and a nice surprise (although one day I hope we can find a different less wasteful material).

So nicely made and easy to assemble.
I’ve bought many many furniture that needed to be assembled from various online and offline stores. From my experience, IKEA furniture has been the easiest and most well aligned. I mean some of those furnitures are just so terrible and hard to assemble. So when I bought this Zinus bed from Amazon, I expected it to be like other furniture not from IKEA. Holes not aligning, rough edges, etc.To my surprise, this bed was so much better than any furniture I’ve had to assemble.First, I expected some pieces to be broken since delivery guys often throw packages right at my door. But it was so nicely packaged, nothing was broken or missing. Each Styrofoam that was protecting the frame pieces were all packaged in a plastic bag so no Styrofoam was flying everywhere. I was impressed there.Second, I prepared wood glue to glue some stressed areas so it would be more sturdy. But I didn’t need any glue. All the parts were already reinforced that no glue was needed at all. It was a little confusing to understand the instructions at first, since the numbers and letters didn’t seem to match the instruction, but once I figured out how it was laid out, it was so much easier than the ikea instructions.Third, all screws and bolts and such were all laid out on a thick paper, marked and sealed so it was easy finding which screw was needed where. It also had plenty of extras in case some rolled in the vent or something.Lastly, the tool that came with was nice and not dinky that I actually used that tool to assemble this bed!It took about 30 minutes for me and my husband to assemble this bed and it’s nice and sturdy.You can tell a lot of thought and consideration went into this bed for the consumers to make this bed as easy to assemble as possible and I really appreciate that. If all other zinus furniture is well-made like this bed, I would confidently buy any furniture made by zinus.100% recommend.

Surprisingly good quality for the price. Easy to assemble; sturdy; solid wood; attractive design.
I am a non-professional woodworker and I have built furniture starting with a tree – milled the lumber, air-dried it for years, cut to size, and then worked with machines and hand tools into furniture. So honestly, yeah, I’m a little picky with buying mass-produced furniture; especially flat-pack stuff that you assemble with screws. And I have assembled a LOT of furniture over the years.I have to say, I am honestly impressed with this bed frame – especially at this price point! It’s made of actual solid wood, and seems to be quite well-made. It went together very easily and quickly and it’s solid and sturdy. And we really like how it looks – very clean, minimalist lines.I don’t normally bother to go out of my way to write a review unless something is surprisingly good or terrible. I honestly was pleased with this bed, and I would buy another if I need one.

Beautiful and sturdy, but………
This is a beautiful bed frame that with 2 of us, was very easy to put together. We got it done in under an hour. The ONLY reason for the 4-star was that the directions that came with it were mismarked. The directions had all the pieces marked A, B, C, etc. yet all the pieces were marked 1, 2, 3, etc, and did not correspond to the ABC. Thankfully I’m an IKEA girl and can follow pictures well. We only had one issue and of course, the very first piece we connected we found out at the very end was upside down so we had to dismantle part of the bed and re-do it. Besides that, the bed is very sturdy and does not creak. The height is comfortable to sit on. The color is on the orange-yellow side. Seems like it will hold up for a very long time.

I bought this bed twice!
My spouse and I have been using the king size for several years. The bed is quiet, sturdy, and has survived several cross-country moves. When it was time for our son to get his own bed, we ordered a twin size version.Pros:Easy to assemble (took me 40 minutes with my 2-year-old’s “help”)Easy to move from place to place and reassemble without compromising the integrity of the bedNo box frame needed (I wouldn’t recommend one due to the headboard height)Quiet and sturdyAttractiveMy 2-year-old can get on and off by himselfCons:Headboard is a little short, especially if you’re using a tall mattressClearance under the bed is slightly less that 6 inches, and most under-bed storage containers are 7 inches tallI wish they had more than one color optionOverall, a great bed that I will probably repurchase when my baby grows out of her crib!

We just got this bed so I can’t speak to its longevity, but I put it together in under 30m, with help to hold the pieces up only. I’ve built a ton of furniture, and my share of IKEA, and this was frankly the easiest altogether. And it really seems sturdy, too!
