Quality product at a good price
Just what they promised. Black steel and bamboo, sturdy and great looking. Took about an hour to assemble. Look carefully at the graphic directions; a few screws go in from the back and 4 screws get washers. It’s all correct but pay attention to details. Included tool to assemble. I’m going to buy another queen size. So pleased to get a well made product!

Frustrating hardware & instructions, but solid bed frame
Mostly, I love this bed frame. It’s my second purchase of a Zinus bed frame and I loved the first one so much that I purchased it in another style. I like that it is low profile but has quality wood pieces and it doesn’t have the feel of the disposable furniture that is running rampant these days. It’s high enough off the ground that it has transitioned well for my son from age 7 to 10 (i.e. it doesn’t look like a little kid/toddler bed) and I think it will suit him for years to come. Plenty of room for storage underneath or even to store a spare mattress.My only complaint boils down to the hardware and instructions. There aren’t a lot of pieces, so it should be a simple and quick build. They include a really useful allen wrench that I will be stashing away for future builds. However, the quality of some of the screws and pieces (I don’t know the technical terms) was inconsistent and led to a bit of a headache with trial and error of swapping out defective pieces for quality pieces and, luckily, they included just enough extras that I didn’t have to leave any screws unsecured. Secondly, the instructions were coded with letters and the furniture pieces were coded with numbers. Not the end of the world — again, there aren’t that many pieces so not a lot of room for a wrong term — but it got a little frustrating at times and I would’ve appreciated some consistency.

Nice looking and sturdy little single bed frame.
Fairly easy assembly. Clever design allowed me to transport the parts in a very small car. The best thing in my situation was that this frame was inexpensive and made of wood. I needed to cut the legs down several inches to make a very low bed height for a special needs person and it worked perfectly.

Decent frame, atrocious hardware
The wood frame itself has a nice appearance and the directions are easy to understand. Pieces may be labeled with different numbers that attach together, which makes construction simple and is not something Iâve seen before in DIY furniture. The slats are 2.5â and adhere with Velcro. There are two adhesive, anti-slip strips, which could possibly cause superficial damage to a mattress that needs to be flipped.I am rating 3 stars due to the atrocious hardware that came with the piece. The screws/bolts strip with minimal pressure (I am a 5â5â female and I stripped nearly all of them with hand pressure). The ratchet is the worst tool Iâve ever used â use your own or the hex key provided. I was expecting more support for the slats than Velcro. If you have the ability to purchase your own screws/bolts, I would tremendously recommend it.
