Good – if you know what to expect
First, this isnât made of solid wood. Solid wood material is a single plank of wood cut to the length and width of the bed frame. Itâs engineered wood which is made of pieces of wood, or layers of plywood glued together. If you look closely, youâll actually see where some sections of the frames were seamed together and finished with a nice wood veneer.Having said that, I donât think it should automatically discourage you. I do think itâs a well-built bed frame made with cheaper wood alternative to keep costs low for customers like me. I expect to get some use out of it for two years at least. Structurally, it probably wonât hold up with prolonged use and frequent moves that will eventually put stress on the seams and cause them to break apart.Is it a good buy? It depends on why youâre buying. I live in a 1-bedroom apartment and donât want to invest in expensive furniture until I can afford to move into my forever home. I know I wonât be moving anymore except to a place I own and I wonât use this bed other than to sleep on at night. Also, this bed checked these must-haves off my list: simple, clean style, easy to build, quality and cost. So all that considered, this is an excellent buy for me!

Really Nice!
First off the packaging is amazing. The styrofoam is actually in plastic so no white beads to chase down! Easy – straightforward assembly. Looks good. Feels good. Sturdy. Dare I say almost over-built for a queen size! Not so sure about the “sticky tape” thing (one piece peeled off wood instead of backing) but I’ll let it pass.

The box was very heavy and I did need assistance carrying it upstairs but could assemble alone. It seems to be quality for the price.

The quality of the frame and the bolts are great. I think it is easy to put together. Iâve purchased a king and a queen and assembled them myself. Iâm a 71 yr old woman who does a fair number of projects around the house. Instructions are very understandable.
