Nice looking fan at a fair price point.
I was looking for something I could have in the bedroom to first, change the fixture I already had and second, to get rid of the fan that I use on hot days. This one caught my eye and the design worked with my accents of my room and was basically killing two birds with one stone. Was it worth to pick up? I would say so!Installation was fairly simple, you just need to know a little bit of knowledge in house wiring but that’s okay if you don’t, you can look online or YouTube to find guides to help you on your way. I did have one of the areas where you screw the cage together and it was bent but it was fine for me since all I had to do was hammer it down. No issues. Anyways, I fired it up and I’m really impressed with the wind coming from the fan. It has 6 power levels and as you can see with the provided video I uploaded, I cycled through each power level. There is a beep every time you shut off the lights but again, it’s not an issue since the remote has an option to mute the beep. (I also demonstrated it in the video.)All in all, I’m very happy with this item and I would totally recommend for those who are looking into a ceiling fan. (I would recommend to put this in the small or medium bedroom since the fan isn’t really that big. If you put it in a large master bedroom, I don’t know if you will get the strong coverage of wind but hey it’s up to you. I feel it gives a nice breeze.) Also, I put 40 watt bulbs “day light” that I picked up at Home Depot and it came out looking wonderful.

An excellent fan and light combo contined within a metal cage
Having had a few run-ins with ceiling fan blades, I ordered this fan/light combo to replace one of my ceiling fans with a divot knocked out of a couple blades. The fan still works, but it looks kind of crappy. When I received the fan, I was immediately impressed with it, most of all its cage. Assembly was not nearly as involved as I thought. It goes together easily. You will need a screwdriver to ease putting it together. If you will be mounting it on an existing electrical box, that’s about all you’ll need. It can be mounted directly on the ceiling or on exposed beams. The hardware is built in. You will need a drill to drill pilot holes for the screws. They are large, and it will be a LOT easier to install using pilot holes! It runs quietly, and the included remote control gives you full control of both the fan and the light. The thing I like the most is the fan cage. It is built of heavy-duty metal, and I have no doubt the cage will prevent me from destroying the fan with my hula hoop!

Rugged. Powerful. A bit fussy to install.
This fan works well and looks nice with a black cage and “wood-look” fan blades. Unfortunately the look of “rustic” does not come through as very authentic. For example, the fan blades are painted plastic and they look like painted plastic. The fan itself requires significant fussy assembly. The two halves need to be assembled with some included brackets and 4 screws per side. Then the fan itself needs to be attached to the cage with a small bolt and even smaller cap nut. None of this is incredibly difficult, but it’s fussy and definitely time consuming …. make sure you have set aside enough time to get everything lined up. The mounting plate rotates to remove (after removing some screws) and is easy to attach to one’s electrical box. There is a hanging wire which is helpful for making the electrical connections. After that, the fan re-attaches to the mounting plate and finally you’re in business – once you’ve added bulbs which are also a bit fussy to fit in. The remote control (Batteries NOT included) is simple and the fan moves a lot of air Overall, the fan works well and looks nice enough but it’s not the best caged fan I’ve seen out there. At this high a price point, I would have expected more to be included (such as full assembly, batteries and bulbs). One good thing is that the fan’s caged exterior is rugged so if it is installed in an area where there might be come contact. then this product would be a possible solution.

I love this fan. I just wish it was bigger so I could replace in my bedroom. I love the aesthetics of it. But instead, it’s the perfect size for our covered patio. It’s going to look perfect!
