Assembly is mildly aggravating. Every section of rod is sleeved in plastic, and it takes a few minutes just to get the thing unpacked.It went together without a hitch, is solid, and looks great for the price.

Nice Lamp
Lamp is nice & worth price paid. Assembly was fairly easy but 4 hands worked a lot better than 2 hands. The lamp shade came rolled up but was easy to assemble with the rings provided. I have never seen a lamp shade liked that till now but was impressed with the final look. I had ordered 2 since price was reasonable & glad I did. Works well and enjoying being able to dim the light. The bulb it comes with it is a soft white LED. Like the black matte finish.

Easy Assembly, Works as Advertised
Ordered two of these, was able to assemble both in under 15 minutes. There are no instructions for the shade part but it’s easy enough to figure out. It comes with a bulb which is standard size so easy to replace when the time comes. LEDs are great because they are cooler (so no fire hazard), last a lot longer, and use way less energy. I really like the fact that this lamp and bulb are dimmable, so you can turn the knob and get just the right amount of light. The maximum brightness is pretty bright, not amazing.

In fact, it can be too bright, especially in the middle of the night, so the manufacturer wisely included a dimming feature. You just take the knob and turn it like this.The shade is made of linen, which adds a touch of cozy nostalgia. The construction is sturdy, and the lamp doesn’t wobbleâits base is heavy.The lamp is black and will fit into any interior. I wouldnât say itâs particularly trendy, but itâs just nice.It came with an LED bulb, which I appreciatedâI didnât have to search all over the house; just plug it in and itâs ready to go.The only thing worth mentioning is that the lamp isnât small; it might be a bit too big for a very tiny room.Overall, this is a great purchase for the money. If you’re looking for a stylish and powerful lamp, I definitely recommend it!

It’s OK
I really like the way this lamp looks in my space and it was easy to put together. I like the dimmer feature and the lamp is sturdy. But unfortunately, when it is dim, it flickers occasionally which is annoying. I contemplated returning it but since it was only $35 I don’t want to go to the trouble to take it all apart and try to repack it. I’ll use it as long as I can and hopefully it won’t stop working.

I ordered this to replace a halogen tortiere style light in my tiny living room. It arrived promptly in a surprisingly small box. It was easy to assemble once I realized that there were little plastic rings protecting the edge of the threads that had to be removed (this was not referenced in the instructions and clearly I havenât unboxed many lamps!).Pros: great price; arrived promptly; easy to assemble; offset pole means it tucks nicely into the corner behind my recliner; love the dimmer switch – easy to use and gets very bright if you want it to; nice downcast light for reading. Note to those replacing an upward facing light like I am – although the top of the shade is open, the light cast upwards towards the ceiling will be significantly less than the tortiere style light so the change in light quality to the room will take some getting used to. The light is more focused with this light. I have some other table lamps around the room to ensure all corners of the room are lit.Cons: Iâm not a fan of Edison bulbs so I swapped out the one it came with for another LED; Iâm not sure how I feel about the white lampshade but thatâs an aesthetic thing that can be easily changed in the future by purchasing another shade;Overall, Iâm very happy with this purchase. Great light for the price.

Arrived on time and in good order. Easy to assemble. No instructions are provided. Like the stand, good weight to base, lamp cover is nice and like ability to adjust angle of the shade. Lamp shade is a bit smaller than expected. (Measures 12 inch diameter. My other living room lamp shades are 16 inch…so, something to consider if you order this.) Overall, I like the product.
