Update – do not buy this coffee maker ! 2 issues : frequently drops it WiFi connection in the Amazon Alexa app . Device shows unresponsive and the only way to reconnect it is to remove it from the Amazon Alexa list and reinstall it ! Secondly : I have been unable to make more than 2 or 3 pods before the coffee maker errors and says the needle is clogged . My old one never did this even after years of use . Itâs obvious that there is a water pump that isnât powerful enough to clear coffee grinds as well as a poor needle design . Unfortunately my return window closed by the time my patience ran out . Get a keurig ) old review : This is the 3rd Flex brew coffee maker that Iâve owned. My last one was the same as this one although without Alexa integration . I loved my prior ones . They all lasted about 5 years each with multiple uses each day . This one so far ? Not so much . The pros : 1) removable water reservoir for k cup 2) size and layout . 3) heated pot area 4) Programable 5) Alexa integration . 6) price . Cons : 1) no removable reservoir on pot side . 2) no water level indicator on the glass pot side like prior models 3) water level for 12 cups on the pot as well as the reservoir is so close to overflowing that itâs pretty hard not to spill some . 4) the deal breaker con ? Mine takes over 25 minutes to make a whole pot . My last one was 12 . It takes forever . It is an actual drip – not a stream . And on mine , pulling out the pot while brewing slows the flow but doesnât stop it completely . And finally ⦠give us back physical buttons . Touch sensitive controls are terrible on low end appliances like these . Not to mention they almost always look dirty with finger prints. So at least make it less glossy to help hide that . The conclusion ? I recently tried to reach out to the manufacturer to inquire as to whether or not I have a defective machine. If I donât get a response soon , I will just return this as defective . Iâm honestly not sure If I would buy this again or recommend it . I always try and be fair with my reviews . So I will update this review when and if things change . ( updated review : one additional software bug : the time will randomly display in military time when it hits midnight . The clock shows 0:00 am until 1 am ) update 5/15/24 : customer service is terrible . They offer no help except to send you instruction manual screenshots on how to unclog the machine . Duh !

Easiest and Best Way to Make Coffee
This is the most versatile coffee maker I have ever used, and it has also made some of the best coffee I have ever tasted. The coffee maker is very easy to set up and comes with the carafe, and k-cup attachments.The coffee maker itself is very straightforward whether you pair it with Alexa or use it as is. The coffee maker is essentially two brewers in one (but can still only use one side at a time), as it has the area for the large carafe on the left side with its own built-in water reservoir, while the k-cup side has its own separate removable water reservoir. The coffee maker can still only use one side at a time, but it has incredible versatility for those wanting their own cup of tea, coffee or other k-cup style drink versus making an entire batch if they choose. On the carafe side, the water dispenser can be moved out of the way to make it easy to dispose of the ground coffee when the brewing is done. Aside from that, the cup stand on the k-cup side is also removable to fit larger cups and thermoses, and also includes a ground coffee adapter for the k-cup side if you want to use your own coffee.To use the coffee maker, you interact with the touch screen display to toggle between the carafe and single mode (along with choosing the size of cup/thermos for the single mode) and toggle between bold and regular strength coffee. When you are ready to brew, you can hit it to enable the brew now option. After that, it will get to work immediately on brewing your beverage.With Alexa, this process is surprisingly simple. In the app, you can just add this as a coffee maker, scan the QR code on the back of the coffee maker, connect it to Wifi, and you can then control it from the app. The app will even give you information about the current brewing status and even the freshness of the coffee. You can also make adjustments on how long for the maker to keep the carafe warm after the brewing is complete and more. Additionally, when paired to the app it automatically configures the clock for you in real time instead of having to input it manually.Now, as far as the coffee itself goes, it is amazing. I like my coffee strong but I usually have to load other makers with double the usual amount of coffee for carafe brews to get it to my preferred strength. With this, I no longer need to double it up. When using the “bold” mode, the coffee was even stronger than I was used to (which is a good thing) and I don’t know how the maker works to make it more bold compared to using regular mode, but it is definitely stronger. I’ve been using the same coffee beans and ground coffee for a long time, so for this to be significantly stronger is surprising to me as I always thought the quality of your beans and the roast is what determines strength, but this coffee maker has shown me that I was wrong. The coffee made by this is fresh, crisp and deliciously robust. In the carafe mode, it takes about 15-20 minutes for a full brew when using the bold setting, and in single mode, the k-cups will brew in less than a couple of minutes.Overall, this is an incredibly versatile coffee maker that allows you to make nearly everything you could want, and it does it in a reliable and consistent way. The smart capabilities are an excellent touch for those wanting to monitor the status of their coffee while getting ready for work, and the coffee brewed is perfect. I highly recommend it!
