Makes good, hot coffee. Much better product than my last two brands of coffee makers.
I’ve used a Keurig & a Cuisinart for years. Both were dependable, but the coffee they made (pods or grounds) was always just “ok”, and never really hot enough.This Ninja makes a far richer & hotter cup, and is especially good with grounds, which is what I most often use. It comes out of the machine at around 195F, and is around 175F in your cup when finished. Just right for me.It doesn’t have a selection for just ‘hot water’, but all you have to do is put the (empty) brew basket in and hit ‘brew’ (You can also make a decent cup of hot tea by placing a tea bag in the brew basket.)I use coffee and chicory, which is already stronger than ‘regular’ coffee. For my first ‘test cup’ I followed the recommended # of scoops (3), which is probably on point for regular coffee grounds like Folgers, MH, etc. My advice? Use only 1 good scoop with coffee and chicory! It’s definitely all you need for a good, strong, cup – and that was using the ‘classic’ setting.The ‘rich’ setting was too strong with my coffee brand (Cafe du Monde), but that setting definitely works as advertised.With the other maker brands I had to fill the brew basket, and the coffee was never strong enough. Not so with this machine. I’ll save $ by having to use about 2/3 less coffee per cup.I like having the convenience of being able to use pods, when I’m lazy or in a hurry, but I really wanted a machine that would make coffee from grounds that tasted like brewed coffee, and this Ninja does it. Not to mention the pods are so much more expensive.I have the model without the frother, so I can’t comment about that feature.The appliance looks good, has a very slender footprint (long, but skinny) and it fits under my standard kitchen cabinets, even with the ‘lid’ fully open. I can even fill it using a pitcher without having to slide it out from under my cabinet, which is really nice. It’s close, but it can easily be done.I’ve only had it a short time, so I can’t speak to how well it’ll hold up, if it’ll start clogging, etc. But so far, it’s the best coffee maker I’ve had of this type.It takes a bit longer to brew than my previous makers, but as a result the coffee tastes like real coffee. It’s worth waiting an extra minute or so.

Was a Keurig user for years continuing to buy one after the other when they gave out before their time.I don’t know the longevity of this Ninja but have had it almost 4 months and it’s been awesome. Not only good coffee, but it is intuitive, e.g., while my coffee was brewing, the water went low, and it alerted me to add water and then picked up where it left off. No time or Kcup wasted. In the four months we descaled once. We also decided to use distilled water to help reduce calcium build up but that was our choice.It is more attractive than the Keurig I had and slim so it fits into a narrow space next to our espresso machine. I did not get the one with the frother so can’t comment on that.I’m actually, thinking of buying a second one I like it that much!!Ninja did a great job!!

It is a beautiful slim machine and works exactly as advertised. I love that you can do grounds or kcups. Coffee comes out nice and hot. My only complaint is the filter for the grounds has a black plastic piece where the water comes out and it wonât stay on. It will still brew a nice cup of ground coffee but I find the piece just sitting in the filter when I empty it rather than attached to the lid. Overall, good purchase. I like that it has a builtin spoon for ground coffee measurement and that there is a builtin storage compartment for the kcup or filter adapter depending on which one is not in use. For durability, only time will tell. About a month of use right now.

What an utterly disappointing experience. It is beyond me as to why Ninja would sell ANY of their coffee makers on the Amazon UK site when they come with AMERICAN PLUGS! There is no mention of this in the listing anywhere. Selling a product no one can useâ¦.what is even the point. Donât let the reviews fool you, they are all from the Amazon US site just plastered on this UK posting to make it look good. Ninja makes great machines but not for users in the UK. Also, Amazon Customer Service is absolutely worthless. They said this machine could be used with a power adapter. It CANNOT. If you live in the UK and you need a very large paper weight, this is the right product for you.

(Se le cayó un imán al adaptador de pods)SOLUCION: el adaptador para cápsulas de la cafetera tienen un pequeño imán que se le cayó sin darnos cuenta por suerte lo encontré y lo volvà a poner donde va y volvió a detectar las cápsulas sin problema.yo compre la version color beich pensando que la unica diferencia entre la beich y la de color negro era la maquina para hacer espuma, pero resulto que la de color beich no trae una funcion llamada ¨SPECIALTY 4 oz¨, que es la que te permite hacer los shots para los lattes y capuchinos.Asi que si piensas comprar una de estas dos versiones recomiendo la que tiene la maquina para hacer espuma por su funcion extra y la diferencia en precios es minima. para que puedan sacarle mayor provecho a la cafetera.En conclusionLa de color beich funciona excelente y la recomiendo bastante, pero si pudiera comprarla otra vez compraria la de color negro con la funcion especial para capuchinos y lattes.
