Great little fan
What a great little fan in every regard. Lots of wind power. Totally silent operation. Great remote. Fun lights. I appreciate that the white light can be changed into different color temperatures. The only small issue that we have is that a couple of the colored LEDs randomly turn on in the middle of the night. If it weren’t for this one issue I would definitely give it five stars

Small but powerful fan
I have Low ceilings in our basement so we love these low profile small ceiling fans.Itâs only 46 inches but it blows a large amount of air and we use the winter setting which really sucks up the air and pushes it up into the ceiling and pushes all the air back down. One fan in this mode covers a large area.Installation took about 45 minutes but not difficult.Itâs a dc motor so itâs not as noisy especially on the faster settings.

This fan did not work
I finally got this installed and found that it did not work. I got the light to work but not the fan. Also the light came on in the middle of the night after I had shut it off. The only response from the fan was a slight oscillating motion for a minute but then stopped.

Great modern look and quiet
I replaced an existing fan with this one and WOW, it immediately transformed the look of the room to the 21st century. It has a great look with the shaped fan blades. The remote control and app worked well and with the remote control of all the features, it eliminated the chains that typically hang down that changes the fan speed, fan direction and light on/off. It was very quiet. It was easy to install and took me less than 30 minutes. I would have given it 5 stars, but the RGB side lights would randomly turn on by themselves. I ended up just disconnecting them. I am planning on buying another one but this time without the RGB “mood” lighting.

No Surprises
This light/fan model is everything you would expect for the money you pay. It was easy to install, is functional as promised with the included remote. However, and again as expected, the instructions are in Chinenglish and provide not enough detail. Additionally, the Bluetooth will not connect to the device (Android or Iphone) as indicated even after re-reading the instructions and watching the linked YouTube video. This is relatively frustrating, but not a show stopper for the price. Everything is plastic except for the motor and fan mounting plate, but the grain used at least gives the appearance of quality. The light dimming and color selection are great to match other lights in adjacent rooms. The fan speeds, forward/reverse and overall air movement are excellent for the 13×13 room it is in. Lastly, there is no sound. It is below whisper quiet. We will see how long this lasts and I will write another review of anything but the aforementioned app compatibility issue surfaces. Enjoy.

We installed this fan in one of our bedrooms, and it does an excellent job of both cooling in the summer and helps distribute heat from the wood stove in winter.Instructions are easy to read, even for the uninitiated, and installation is easy enough, but some basic wiring knowledge is necessary because the control module is not preinstalled. The build quality of this unit is exceptional, with good wear resistance on the metal coating and an attractive black finish on the blades and housing. Even at high speeds, the fan operates with little noise. The fan is quite stable, and we have no wobble during operation, even at high speeds. The LED lights do a good job of light bright enough to read by, but the shape of the light makes it more directional, and the upper corners of the room are considerably darker. Having a remote control is also great, giving a clean modern look compared to the old pull chain styles that old farm houses typically have.I donât have a bad thing to say about this fan, and Iâm very happy with both its appearance and performance.

This listing caught my eye when I came across it as I was looking for a decent sized ceiling fan for our cottage property. The old one there was really in need of refresh and this “BayDay” branded fan looked like it could fill that role.The item arrived well packaged and was damage free. Like all ceiling fans, this one is going to require a little bit of final assembly but nothing too difficult in my opinion. If you have installed a ceiling fan in the past, this will require about the same sort of effort.I like the overall matte black look of this design. I feel it is a sort of unique and the blade spinning circumference of 51″ is a plus! (Many fans out there are under 48″ or even less). The included handheld remote offers easy control of all lighting and fan functions and this helps to keep the fan looking clean without having any hanging cords for manual control. However, don’t lose that remote!Now, I should also note that there is also an smartphone app available from the manufacturer, but I cannot offer any commentary on this as I have made it a personal policy of mine to NOT add any more third party apps to my phone or tablets that are not entirely necessary. I am not saying that this app is “unsafe”. This is just personal preference of mine.In actual use, this functions quite well and as intended. The motor noise is actually not too bad. I was expecting it to be louder than it is. I find this is tolerable compared to some really noisy fans that I have owned in the past.In the end, I do like this BayDay Ceiling Fan, but I have a couple of mixed feelings about it. It has decent build quality and functions as intended but it is a bit of an inexpensive looking product up close as the majority of it is ABS plastic. From a greater distance (ie: higher ceilings) it still looks the part and the 51 inch overall spinning circumference is a good size. At the current price of $119.99, I feel it may be a touch pricey given that some “higher end” fans often go on sale at my local box store for about the same. I do feel this BayDay fan is worthy of being on your list of possible considerations if you are shopping around for such a product. I am giving it on overall rating of about 3.5 out of 5.
