Product Overview
The addlon Ceiling Fan with Light is a 42-inch low profile ceiling fan designed for small indoor spaces such as bedrooms, living rooms, offices, and kitchens. Combining modern aesthetics with practical functionality, this flush mount fan features reversible blades, dimmable lighting, and a quiet DC motor for efficient cooling and energy savings. It comes with a remote control that allows you to adjust fan speed, set a timer, control light brightness and color temperature, and even reverse airflow direction—all from the comfort of your seat. Ideal for homeowners seeking style, convenience, and year-round climate control without professional installation.
Key Features
- 6 Speeds Adjustable: Offers six distinct wind speeds to suit different preferences and room conditions, ensuring personalized comfort whether you need a gentle breeze or a stronger airflow.
- Reversible Function: The reversible blade design allows you to switch between clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. In summer, it pushes cool air downward; in winter, it circulates warm air trapped near the ceiling.
- Super Quiet Operation: Powered by a DC motor, this fan operates quietly, making it perfect for bedrooms or study areas where noise can be disruptive.
- Timer Setting (1/2/4 Hours): Includes an automatic shut-off timer function that lets you fall asleep comfortably knowing the fan will turn off after your chosen duration.
- Remote Control Convenience: All functions—on/off, speed, light, timer, and direction—are accessible via a single remote, eliminating the need to get up during use.
- Memory Function: Remembers your last settings when powered back on after being turned off by a wall switch, restoring both fan speed and light state.
- Customizable Light: Features three color temperatures (3000K Warm White, 4000K Natural White, 5000K Cool White) and dimmable brightness levels, allowing you to create the ideal ambiance for any activity or time of day.
- Replaceable LED Light: Uses long-lasting LEDs that are user-replaceable, extending the life of your fixture and reducing maintenance needs over time.
- Multiple Remote Pairing: One remote can be paired with several fans simultaneously, simplifying control if you have more than one unit in your home.
- Flush Mount Design: Low-profile construction fits perfectly in rooms with lower ceilings, offering a sleek, space-saving solution without compromising performance.

Benefits & Use Cases
This ceiling fan excels in residential environments requiring compact yet powerful climate control. Its energy-efficient DC motor reduces electricity consumption by approximately 80% compared to traditional AC motors, lowering utility bills while maintaining strong airflow. The reversible feature makes it suitable for all seasons—keeping rooms cool in summer and redistributing heat in winter. With its whisper-quiet operation and dimmable, multi-color-temperature lighting, it’s especially well-suited for bedrooms, nurseries, home offices, and small living areas where ambient light and sound matter. The included remote ensures easy access without interrupting your space, and the ability to pair multiple remotes with several fans offers flexibility for larger homes or multi-room setups.
Important Notes
- The fan and light cannot be controlled separately using individual wall switches. Both must be managed through the provided remote or together via a single wall switch.
- Do not attempt to connect the fan to a dimmer switch or gear switch—this may damage the internal controller and void the warranty.
- Installation is DIY-friendly, supported by detailed instructions and available video tutorials, but requires basic electrical knowledge or assistance for safe setup.
- The package includes the ceiling fan, remote control, mounting hardware, and installation guide—no additional components are required for standard installation.
- While primarily designed for indoor use, consult local building codes before installing outdoors, as weather exposure may affect longevity.

Awesome fan and easy to install
My light has a fan and light wire, but this does not need it. You wire to the light switch and it controls the light and fan. Fan is super quiet, light is very bright and has different colors. Fan speed is great. Overall, good value for your money. Very happy

Super cute & good quality
Great little ceiling fan! Perfect size for our daughterâs 13â x 12â bedroom. Initially I was worried about the quality since this was so much more affordable than those at a big home improvement store. However, I couldnât be happier! My favorite things about this fan are the flush mount for the ceiling and the flush mount light. Looks very sleek!Install was pretty straightforward but the video link provided in the instruction manual doesnât work. I just looked up install video for this product and was easily able to find one online.Helpful hint – Donât use the twist cap connectors that come with the fan. Purchase some push-in or lever wire connectors from a home improvement store. Makes install easier and you donât have to worry that the wires wonât stay together and your husband will have to redo the connect multiple times and get progressively more frustrated, lol. ð

Nice little fan for a bedroom with minor shortcomings.
I installed this in about half an hour and have nothing strongly negative to say about it. I chose this fan for my bedroom; I wanted something simple in appearance, not cheap-looking, low profile, and with a dimmable light. This fan has all of that along with some extras that I wasn’t looking for but are nice to have nonetheless such as the ability to change the light temperature). Packing is good, quality is great (no meaningful motor noise, and the fan was perfectly in balance out of the box even at highest speed), assembly was easy (the assembly guide is humorously over-the-top positive and encouraging), and it does exactly what the description says. Observations and minor quibbles…At full speed there’s an ever-so-slight hum from the motor. In a larger room and/or with taller ceilings you may not even be able to hear it but in a smaller bedroom it’s noticeable. HOWEVER, I sincerely can’t imagine running this fan at full speed as the airflow is incredibly strong, strong enough to blow small objects off my dresser. Anything above ~40% power becomes a bit overwhelming, to be honest.I was a little disappointed with the dome that covers the LED assembly as it’s made with thin and cheap-feeling plastic. Given the overall high quality in materials seen elsewhere, this seems like a last-minute decision by the manufacturer to save a few bucks. There are supposed to be four screws holding the fan unit to the ceiling mount. Mine only came with three. Fortunately I had a correctly-sized substitute at my workbench but it was a little disappointing to see this little slip in quality control. The room that this was installed in had a single ceiling light controlled by a light switch by the door. This arrangement wouldn’t work with the new fan so I removed the switch, closed the circuit (so it would always be on), installed a blank plate over the opening, and mounted the included fan remote on top of the blank plate. This all worked out very nicely and is, presumably, how the fan is supposed to be set up. But after using things this way I discovered a small issue: When the room is dark there’s no easy and obvious indicator on the remote which button turns the light on. The button in question is not the largest one on the remote, doesn’t have any special shape or texture, is located almost in the center of the remote, and is not lighted. So if it’s dark and you don’t actually know where the correct button is in advance, you’re going to be fumbling with the remote pressing random buttons until you happen to hit the right one. The addition of a single small LED behind that one button would solve the issue. It doesn’t even need to drain power; set up a circuit so that single small LED turns on when the remote is touched/moved and the whole problem is solved. These are admittedly small details that would in no way stop me from buying this fan again if I had the opportunity for a do-over.

Quiet and elegant fan
Easy to install, quiet operation and a remote with many options. We put it in a spare bedroom and it moveds quite a but of air. Light works well and illuminates a 12 x 12 bedroom quite well. Would buy again.

Great fans
I bought three of these fans for my upstairs bedrooms. I love the look of them. They really add to the decor of the rooms. And they work great too! Added bonus, the remotes are so convenient and easy to use. They are definitely a win-win all around. Oh! And great price too! I highly recommend them!

Crap remote- DONT BUY
The fan itself is nice and installation was fine. The different speeds are nice. Keeps our large bedroom cool. Thereâs multiple levels of brightness. Our only issue is the remote. It only works sometimes and it has to be in the right angle to work. Very annoying. If it was easy to uninstall, we would and send it back

Okay, Easy Install
The fan looks nice and was easy to install. Iâm not a fan of the fans with the remotes because if you misplace the remote there is nothing you can do and it doesnât work with a dual light switch. When we turn the light on, there is a click and a 1-2 second delay before it turns on. My old fan, I could turn the light on with 1 switch and the fan with the other. This one only uses 1 switch. Iâll probably replace with one from Loweâs soon because itâs for my toddler room. I donât want him or us having to worry about a remote
