Brittle PLastic
Very small. Comes complete with extension socket and remote as well as well as a hard wire socket. The blades are made from a brittle plastic that break easily when assembling. Light is bright and nice remote control. The first one I got broke when assembling so be careful putting it together. Fan speed is good but its so small its practically useless for my needs. Its not going to cool your room by any means as well as a regular ceiling fan would. I use this for my laundry room to keep the moisture in control. So far, it works. Could have been a better plastic for the blades and maybe a bit larger.

Renting and my tiny bathroom has zero to no air flow. Gets hot and steamy quick. I easily installed this myself. No different then a lightbulb. It’s small size fits perfectly and it greatly helps with air flow and brightens up the space. The remote is super handy. I like to turn lights way down (you can turn them right off) adjust from bright white to a yellow glow and put the fan on breeze. It gives you a nice wind like breeze varying in speed automatically. Then pour a nice hot bubble bath. Super relaxing atmosphere.

I received this product through the Amazon Vine program.The Acesal Socket Fan/Light really surprised me. It came well packaged with no damage and all the necessary items for 2 types of installation. If you do not have a E26/27 (Edison medium screw) mount, they include one in the kit. For those that have an existing socket mount, it is simply as easy as changing a light bulb. It you have enough ceiling height, you can take advantage of the extension and will be able to pull more air from above. Ceiling fans work much better the greater the headroom they have. The fan blades simply push into place and it is impossible to mount them incorrectly because of the locking tab design. It is very important that you use the locking screws so that it cannot unscrew itself over time. The remote must be “paired” with the fan and is easily done if your press and hold the “wifi” key within 5 seconds of powering it on. Once the light flashes, you’re ready to go. They don’t include the 2 AAA batteries, so remember to get some. I like that they provide a wall bracket to park the remote when not in use. I had a little trouble getting the app to work, but I’ll probably never use it unless I lose the remote. One thing I didn’t like was there are no controls on the fan itself, but I can live without that feature. I think that would make the product even better. My entire install time was 15 minutes, not including the app.Performance: The fan is virtually silent at even the highest speeds and it moves a lot of air. I really was not expecting it to work as good as it does. The price is very reasonable as well. I will definitely be purchasing more of this specific model and I doubt I will ever buy another regular ceiling fan unless it for “decorative” purposes.I highly recommend this as a 5 Star product.

What a great little fan, itâs easy to install assuming you have a solid (downward facing) lightbulb fixture where you can remove the bulb and add the fan. The kit does come with a supporting fixture if needed, however; an electrician may be required.In my home the only fixtures that were ready-to-go were located in the basement, as such I installed the fan just above the basement work bench. As there is one tiny window in the basement, it was quite nice to have some added air circulation as a result of the fan.The lighting offered by this fan has also worked out well, with a max brightness of 1000lm (75w) and 3 main colour temperatures ranging from warm white to cool white, I was able to achieve a more desirable luminance in this area.The included remote control is required to operate the fan and light settings, as there are no physical toggles on the fan itself. Alternately, an app can be installed to gain access to these controls, however; I was unsuccessful at this aspect of things and decided for my purposes the remote and the included âwall-mountableâ holder is really all that I needed.After a power failure, the light will turn on, restoring its previous setting, however the fan blades will stay off. When I cycled the fan through the various speeds, it remained balanced, except at the highest speed where it did start to wobble, but that’s just because the light socket I screwed into needs to be leveled slightly to balance the fan. Until I get around to that adjustment, the first 5-speeds out of 6 are more than enough. I would say the fan is fairly light in weight measuring 515g (1lb 2oz). Overall, I am pleasantly surprised on how much I like this little fan!

Facile à installer, très silencieux, plusieurs options d’éclairage dont une lumière “froide” ou” chaude”, ce qui est génial!Une autre option intéressante sont les deux choix d’installation soit directement via la douille classique d’une ampoule ou alors la base électrique pour ampoule qui est fournie avec la quincaillerie. Le ventilateur vient aussi avec une rallonge. La télécommande vient avec un support mural mais les piles ne sont pas incluses (2 x “AAA”- ce qui est dommage).Seul problème que j’ai eu, et il est incompréhensible, c’est que le ventilateur ne fonctionnait pas avec mon adaptateur en angle pour mon plafonnier. Il a fallu plusieurs tests pour que je découvre qu’en utilisant la rallonge d’une autre marque de mini-ventilateur (celle blanche-acheté sur Amazon aussi) plus la rallonge fournie, là le ventilateur fonctionne à merveille! Il y a une amélioration à faire à ce niveau, autant pour l’adaptateur en angle qui est très pratique si on ne veut pas devoir jouer dans l’électricité.Je recommande, mais avec ce bémol important. +++(voir les photos de l’adaptateur et des rallonges, la blanche étant celle d’un autre modèle)
