Does the Job – A Good Value
I really love this product! Itâs durable and good manufacturing. Nothing to install. I work in a medical office and itâs really nice to be able adjust the riser so I can stand up and work and take the load off my back. The riser is easy to lift up to the desired height. If you have a heavy monitor like my 24inch, it can make it a bit harder to lift. Lowering it is really easy and easy to control. I look forward to the electric model. 🙂

it works okay
I think the product video is a little misleading⦠it looks smooth and shows you lifting and lowering the table with ease⦠its not at all. You have to grab both sides and lift down/up at the same time while holding the lever up for it to click through all the heights and its NOT smooth. I almost dropped my laptop a few times. If you want a smooth up and down this is not it. You need to buy one with hydraulic lifting. It works for now but im sure ill get rid of it in a year

Really Sturdy
This was far heavier than I expected when I ordered it, but the heaviness shows how sturdy it is. It goes up easy, but lowering it is a little more difficult since you have to push the ball down, raise the top, then lower it while keeping the ball pushed down. Notice it says Manual Adjustable, so be aware that means that you have to be able to lift the top and anything on it to adjust it.

Reviewing Aconcept Compact 26″ White Lift Standing Desk Converter, This is not usable for me, unfortunately. It holds my keyboard, monitor riser and monitor (17lbs max, according to the manufacturer) and stays steady when raised. However, it is not smooth to adjust it at all. Every now and then, I can get it to smoothly raise, but lowering it is not easy at all. To lower it, you must first lift up on the desk, but sometimes, when I do that, the whole thing lifts up instead of just the desk portion. You canât lower it without first lifting up on the desk portion. Then, it catches and jerks at each notch on the way down, and thatâs only IF I can get it to go down at all. If you are using this as a standing desk only and you donât need to adjust it, it might work for you, although it is small to include a laptop/monitor AND a keyboard on it. I have to rate this two stars only because I canât use it due to its design.

at its lowest height, it’s still over 4″ from top of desk
I ended up returning the item because even when the sit-stand desk converter is at its lowest (ie. put all the way down), it still sits over 4″ from top of desk. I was looking for something more flush, less than 2″ at its lowest.However, the item easily moves up and down, very fluid. can be adjusted to any height within its range and is stable.make sure to measure everything and be comfortable that your monitor will be sitting 4″ higher.

I really like this for the ability to adjust the height of my work surface. I think it is better for my back if I change things up during the day, except that when I’m at my computer there was no way to make any adjustments, prior to receiving this adjustable height desk. I was stuck at the same position all day.This desk takes care of that problem. Adjustment takes a minute but then it is manual, not electric powered so that is to be expected. I’m fine with that. At least I don’t have to worry about a motor going out or stopping working. I’ve read the reviews. I sorted reviews by most recent and read reviews by people who have owned a motorized version for a year or so.I’m very happy, and my back is also, that I can have a more adjustable work surface for my keyboard and mouse. Thank you!
