Good for a picnic
Pretty print and waterproof. I think this is great for a picnic blanket but I wouldnât use it as a rug. It seems too slick to stay in place for an outdoor rug. The carry case and stakes make it great for taking to the park or using in the grass.

It should weather well
Being that it’s made of plastic straw, this rug should last a while out in the elements. The color and pattern and pretty. It came in a nice bag with a carry handle and stakes, making it perfect for an outdoor event but if you plan to sit on it, know that’s it’s plastic straw and not the softest to sit on but would probably work great underneath a blanket for extra protection from the ground. If you plan to use on cement then you’ll have to use some kind of tape to keep it in place when it’s windy.

Go figure, as soon as I placed the mat rug under my outdoor table, it rained. But that was a great test and it held up. No issues or concerns about this one.

Pretty Cheaply Made
This came folded up in a bag. The rug is pretty thin and feels pretty cheap plastic and looks pretty cheap. The rug had lots of fold creases that needed to be flattened out. I placed it outside and put chairs on top of it to try and flatten it out. It has been a few days and it still hasn’t completely flattened out. I wouldn’t purchase this again.

An eye-catching durable outdoor rug
The rug is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The size is perfect, as I needed a second 4 X 6 rug to cover the balcony. The novelty of being reversible is handy. I can see myself halfway through the summer turning the rug over to its other equally artistic eye-catching side — just because I can. The material is sturdy and hints of a long life outdoors. Although composed of plastic and straw, the versatile rug exudes elegance. Certainly, the well-made rug will heighten the mood anywhere you place it.

Two. Lightweight to not be staked down.
I got this rug because I really wanted to use it on my deck. The plastic material that it is made out of makes it easy to clean and very weatherproof. However, it is so lightweight that barely a whisper of a wind will move it. It comes with loops and steaks so that if youâre putting it in the grass or something, you can secure it down. But if you want it on a deck or a patio, youâre out of luck, unless you find an alternative way to weigh it down like putting furniture on top itâs going to blow around. Because I wanted to use it in walkways that got very hot under direct sunlight, thatâs not an option for me and so itâs rather useless.

Cant beat the size and quality for the price. I love the neutral tones as it allows me to add pops of colour on my deck and the mat is not competing. I have been using this for two months and it is still intact with no wear. Great buy, would purchase again
