The material is nylon
The GENIMO 8 x 10 outdoor rug is made with nylon or other synthetic and has a medium loose weave. The image was clear. It will allow water to drain off quickly. I wouldn’t use it in the house.It looks good on our deck. It’s a bit tough on the knees after a few minutes playing on it.The folds still have not relaxed after 5 days.All in all it is functional and adds a nice visual touch to deck.

Beautiful but not what I expected
I received this rug in a carrying case. I opened it and was so excited but slightly confused. When I unraveled it I realized it was not a rug at all, it was more like a woven mat. The pattern is beautiful, but I am not sure how it’s going to work. It’s very lightweight and will fly away so you will need to put your furniture on top of it to keep it stable. I like it but it’s not what I wanted nor is it the size I wanted so it makes it hard to organize around it on my patio. It does seem to be easy to clean though. So while it is beautiful this is not a heavy duty outdoor rug you can put down and not worry about it.

I purchased this as a tent rug for a busy two week camping trip to Yosemite and Oxbow.Yosemite was hot, dry and smoke from wildfires carried by breezes sometimes wandered though our campsite.This rug came folded in a handy zipped bag, unfolded easily with one person. it is pretty, comfortable even on bare feet.best of all, it captured and help filter into the carpet much of what we brought in from outside life. All the dry dead grasses, dirt, sand that was formerly clinging to our tired out selves.it also added a barrier of warmth from the tarp floor of the tent during a few nights when the moisture level rose and temps dropped.No more crinkling during the night when someone woke up because the tarp floor was covered! No more slippery sock covered feet from slides.Best of all, when prepping to leave, it was easy to just fold the rug in half, and seam side down, carry it outside, shake everything out! AND. NOTHING left on the inside of the tarped floor to sweep up!oh, and because the rug is waterproof, liquids won’t harm it.my tent is big, got heavy foot traffic.and the rug folds easily. just brought it back into the tent, folded it myself and put it back into the bag. looks as good as new.

Not what I expected â¦
The carpet looked perfect for my patio. Very anxious to get it. My patio floor gets extremely hot on your feet. When this carpet came, it looked like a thin placemat for your picnic table. It certainly would not do for my patio. We need a carpet/rug with a thick backing for protection for our feet. I had to return it.

Nice quality rug
This rug is beautiful and nice quality. Love that it comes with a storage bag and stakes to stake it down. We are not using the stakes. Dirt blows off nicely. Currently using it under the stairs with a welcome mat on top. Love how it keeps the area clean and dry when walking to the door of the trailer.My only complaint is that the fold lines stay visible. Even after following directions to “remove folds” and it being laid out for several weeks. Guess it’ll help with the folding up for storage. Going to order another one for the other trailer.

Very durable and perfect for the patio during the spring and summer months. No need to worry when it rains either. We staple ours down on the deck and the removal is easy and doesnât tear. Highly recommend!

I was worried this would look and feel cheap but itâs surprisingly really nice. It is thick and soft (as soft as this material can be) and looks really good. We have it on our wooden deck so that our toddler can play and walk on there and it works perfectly. She on the rug with bare feet walking and crawling. Itâs good
