How should I choose the track length?

The track length is generally the total width of the door plus 4 inches. Please note that the total width of the door should be at least 2 inches wider than the door opening.

I only have 5 inches of space above my openning. Can I install this hardware?

The door height should be slightly taller than the door opening (at least 1 inch). This hardware requires at least 6 inches of space above the door for installation. If space is limited, consider using this item (B0BXL5SFYS).
