Very sturdy
I started to return this because it looked difficult to assemble. A friend with the right tools took the time to assemble it for me. I am very pleased that it fits under my counter and is easy for me to use. It is sturdy and looks nice in my kitchen.

Love how these look in my kitchen. Heavy, sturdy. One chair needed to be retightened, though may not have been tightened enough initially. Seats comfortable without a cushion but may add one

Great Chair – assembly tip for tight fit
This is a great value but suggest you follow these assembly approach. This is made of very dense wood (great!) but, in fact, too dense to properly seat the screws by hand in the cross members attached to the legs, which is why you are seeing some reviews with the cross bars not pulled tightly to the legs. While the instructions state do not use a power tool, you will have a difficult time firmly seat the screws by hand. Use your drill and adjust the clutch so that it doesnât turn too tightly to the point of snapping the screw (screws are plenty beefy despite what others have said) or stripping the head – a little trial and error will get you in the zone. Once you seat the screws with your drill, then tighten the allen screws and this chair will be extremely solid.

Great fit for new home
Sturdy and easy enough to assemble. One of the stools has a slight splinter that caused a snag on some clothing, but itâs minor enough to keep and not worry about returning

Nice, nice chairs
I bought these because my cousin has a set of 8 that she purchased online with her rewards cash from a well known brick & mortar store, and I love them in her kitchen. She paid triple what they are here on Amazon. These chairs are easy to assemble, don’t rock, are heavy and sturdy. They are super comfortable. I unfortunately had to return the ones I purchased because they were too dark for my kitchen. I would highly recommend them. Great chairs, great price. Return was simple and received an immediate credit once they were turned over to the UPS store.

Pretty good chair, terrible hardware
The stool is made using wood constructed from scraps glued together and remilled. That milling isnât consistent, causing some components to not fit correctly. The Hardware is all there, but of poor quality, so much so that the instructions state that only the wrench suppled should be used, because it is so small, itâs minimizes the chance of stripping them out.

Great chairs for the price
I was able to put the chair together on my own. I appreciate they sold these separately as I needed 5. Over all they seem sturdy, packaged well and hope to have years of use from them! Perfect height for my new long island that transitions into our dining table – so they are same height as my cabinet counters.
