Nice size heating pad. Holds the heat for for about 45 minutes after heating for 90 seconds. Do not heat longer than 90 seconds or it smells similar to burnt popcorn. Adjustable velcro belt stretches and will allow you to wrap around back, hip, knee or shoulder. Good product, great price!

The BEST microwave heating pad I’ve bought!
It’s big. Moist heat is excellent. I’m very happy with this SECOND purchase. If you want to be happy with it also, do not heat it TOO long in the microwave. I did that with my first one and burned a hole in it. But it was totally my own fault for heating it too long. But I loved it so much, that is why I bought the second one. This time, I read the care and heating directions and will not overheat it. I really like the wrap around belt. It keeps the pad tight against my low back and allows me to twist and turn without readjusting. As an elderly person, I love the comfort this heating pad gives my old bones. And I love the peace of mind it gives me as it has no side effects and no electric wires to plug in. Oh, and I even use it to warm my feet on a cold night.

Smaller than I expected and much lighter
Pros:It is super softIt is very lightly scented so no lavender to give me a headache, but it does smell a little herbalIt goes way up my neck where I have serious pain issuesIt stays warm for over 30 minCons:Too small. Would fit nicely on a small woman, but it isn’t wide enough for my shoulders, so it won’t reach all the spots I need at one time. Barely reaches the end of my collar bonesAll the stuffing, below the neck band, sinks down to the bottom. My biggest issue is pain between my shoulders where my neck meets my upper back. Over the top of my t-shirt it wasn’t near warm enough. However, I put it under my shirt and that held it in place and helped the heat to penetrate. I’ve been wearing it now for 20 minutes and it is still warm.. Unfortunately, I think it will get soiled quicker having to wear it against my skin and there is very little warmth in the thinner parts of the drape where I really need it.Overall, I wouldn’t buy it again, although the longer lasting heat is nice. If you’ve had the older kind of these microwaveable heating pads. It just doesn’t live up those with their more durable fabric.

Great product! Not just for backs, you can use it on thigh too. Pay attention to how long you heat it for, the instructions will tell you what is recommended. Very comfortable and the velcro band secures it well.

I cannot have about this enough. It is so comfortable and the design works perfectly for your neck. I did not notice any velcro on it, but it is not really needed. It has worked great for pain relief on my neck for driving long trips. It retains the heat for a sufficient amount of time.
