Perfect Beanbag Chair for the Kids’ Room!
The Big Joe Milano Beanbag Chair in Sapphire Smartmax has been a fantastic addition to our church kids’ room! The size is just right for kids, and the chair is both comfortable and durable. The Smartmax fabric is easy to clean, which is essential with little ones, and the sapphire color looks great in the room.The kids love relaxing in it during storytime or playtime, and itâs held up well with lots of use. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM BIG JOE
Purchased 2 of these bean bags last year (Nov 2023) for my 9 year old sonâs bedroom. Theyâre a great size for him, and adults alike (we are a tall family, and my husband – 6â3â – and I – 5â10â – were able to use them comfortably). We did have some issues with seams coming undone and beans falling out after we had them for 6-9 months, but Big Joe replaced both bean bags. The process to file a claim was super easy through their website, and the replacements were sent out the next day. They come filled with a sufficient amount of foam beads, but Iâm sure some additional foam could be added to make them even more comfortable (you can purchase shredded foam here on Amazon that could then be added to the bags). The product itself is 4 Star, but their customer service sent my rating over 5! Very impressed with this company and would purchase products from them again over any other bean bag company. The peace of mind is more than worth it!

Love it for lounging
Great bean bag for adults to sit around in. It’s supportive and the back doesn’t seem to fall down at all. The massage feature is nice, but it’s nothing special. It’s a little unfortunate that you can feel the massager in the beanbag all of the time, so it can get uncomfortable if you sit in the same position for long periods. USB cable to plug in the massage feature is too short, if you’re going to use it, consider a USB extension cable, unless you’re gong to be 2 – 3ft away from the outlet.

Super cute and great kids chairs exceptâ¦
Bought 2 of these for my daughtersâ play area in our loft (ages 8,6,2). Super cute and were sturdy bean bag chairs overall, but after about 4 months of use, the backs started to lose shape and sink.First picture is what they look like without fixing them. Second picture is when I try to fluff them up and adjust them when Iâm cleaning or having company. Wish there was some foam or something in the backs to hold shape but other than that, I think theyâre great!

Sad it ripped but love the product
We have only had this chair for 2 days and it has ripped at the seam. So far we love the product and the vibration feature. Fortunately customer service is sending us a new one free of charge and we don’t need to send back the defective one which would have been a huge hassle. So grade A service on their end!! Other than the seam rip this chair is very comfortable and convenient. I got it for my 6ft tall husband who likes to play video games and sit right infront of the TV while playing. He used to drag the huge couch around to strategically place himself in the way of everyone but now he just has this chair which is working great for everyone.

Fabulous!
This beanbag chair is absolutely fantastic. It is well-made and very sturdy. I have a very small TV room with the couch that only comfortably sits two people. I bought this chair as an extra so that when my son and his wife are here for the holidays there would be extra seating for a third person. Itâs really comfortable, and seats and adult very well. Iâm 5 foot nine and I weigh 155 pounds. This chair holds up beautifully, and the backrest does not need to be leaned up against anything. You can lean back and it holds firm. Very pleased!

Needed to fix it, but my kids love it…
I bought two of these chairs in white, here’s the good, the bad and the ugly:Cons:1) REALLY not filled enough. I had to buy more filler within a week of use and it’s only my 7 and 3 year old daughters (weight 50 lbs and 30 lbs) each sitting in their own chairs, not grownups or heavy people.2) Smelled a bit chemical when came out of the box but I left it outside on our screened-in deck and the smell lessened substantially (not completely) within 24 hours. It no longer smells bad.4) Refill material cost me $37 to plump up my brand new chairs ):3) No way to wash the cover. I would have liked if it could be removed to be washed occasionally.Pros:1) I solved the saggy, not-filled-enough problem by purchasing 10 lbs shredded memory foam for filling bean chairs (from a company on amazon) it worked WAY better than the beans. The foam perfectly filled my two Milano bean chairs, one 5lb bag in one, the other 5 lb bag in the other. Now the chairs are totally full, much better supported, and will hopefully remain so for a long time before I need to refill again.2) My kids LOVE the chairs. Love them. They are like giant fluffy bird nests and my daughters like to sit in them every day to look at books or relax. In fact, the reason I bought two was because I got one for our younger daughter but our older daughter loved it so much, I knew we needed a second one and ordered it that day.3) They look nice in our livingroom. They are for the kids but they look nice and add a cozy touch to the room, they make a cozy livingroom nook which is very inviting for the kids.4) The castle cut-out box playhouse was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the first chair’s box was beat up and we didn’t use it but the second chair’s box was perfect and we did cut it out (it’s actually perforated cardboard so it’s easy to do) and make the castle clubhouse, our 3 year old loves it. Our 7 year old is a bit bummed that her box wasn’t in good condition, but she’s a bit big for it anyway.5) Some reviewers mentioned shedding. They only shed the first couple of days, they don’t shed anymore, at least nothing noticeable (and I’m a pretty neat person who would notice something like that). They are not shedding on the rug they’re on nor on my kids’ clothes anymore.I would purchase this again only because my kids totally love them. That’s why I bought memory foam to plump them up rather than return. To be honest, without the foam, they’d probably be a pathetic heap of fluff in a couple of months since they didn’t seem full out of the box, and within a week they were noticeably sagging – again, that’s with only two light little girls sitting in them.

Measured it when it arrived, It’s only 22″ tall and 19″ in diameter. It’s listed as bigger than that in the description. Also I found a similar chair at Wal-Mart for $20. I’m very disappointed with this purchase.
