Beautiful bed frame, wonderful quality!
First Impressions:There’s not much to say besides the fact that I LOVE this bed frame! The look, feel, color, design, fabric, and every thing else about this bed frame is on point! I just moved out of my parents house for the first time ever and I wanted to pick something that would look absolutely adorable in my new studio apartment. I feel like I hit the jackpot with this bed frame! The color is just a tiny bit darker than it appears in the ad pictures but don’t get me wrong, it’s gorgeous and pictures just don’t do it justice. I have the Zinus green tea memory foam mattress and it fits the bed frame perfectly. Nothing hangs over and there is no “extra” space around the mattress. My mattress is supposedly the 12 inch but I’m 99% certain that I received the 10 inch. It’s the perfect height for the bed frame. Since my apartment is so small, side tables aren’t an option so the fact that this bed frame has a flat top, where you can set things, is an added bonus. My boyfriend and I keep our phones charging on the top of the bed frame and it works wonderful so we can hear our alarm.Problems:I do have one complaint with this bed frame, however. When I received mine, putting it together was a struggle because one of the boards to the frame that the plastic legs screw into didn’t have any groves inside the hole. We had the hardest time getting one of the legs in because we had to hammer it in to create grooves because there were none. This only happened for one of the bed legs. The rest had the grooves inside like they were supposed to. I am not taking a star off for this because 1. I think it was just a factory mistake and probably didn’t affect very many of these and 2. It wasn’t a big enough problem that I had to return it. Other than that, this bed frame was very easy to put together with a couple other helping hands.Shipping:The shipping was awesome. It got here on time and was boxed beautifully. The box had visible damage, as expected, but nothing inside was damaged. The box weighed a TON so this is definitely not the most “moving friendly” package especially if you’re moving far. If you are moving far, I would recommend waiting to order this product to your new address instead of trying to haul it around. I knew this was the case as I could see the shipping weight but it was not an option for me. So, even though this box is heavy, it’s definitely not impossible to move. It is difficult to get up stairs, however, so I’d recommend getting your strong friends to help!After Use:This bed frame has held up wonderfully and I’ve been sleeping on it for about 5 months. It is very sturdy and will withstand whatever activities you choose to participate in on top of it. I haven’t noticed much bowing in the wooden boards underneath. I tend to flop down on the bed without caution and it doesn’t budge one bit. It’s not squeaky, and doesn’t crick and crack when you move around, get on, or get off the bed. It’s 100% silent 100% of the time no matter what it is that you’re doing.Overall:Overall this was a wonderful purchase and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a classy looking, reasonably priced, bed frame. I’ve even bragged about it so much that my sister is going to buy the exact same bed frame when we move in together next semester and I would even purchase this product again. I absolutely love it.If this review was helpful, please let me know!EDIT: Now after having this bedframe for 6 years and three moves, it has started to squeak over the past few years. It makes noise getting on and off and while moving around on top of it too. I’m not sure if it’s something that can be fixed with some WD40 or if that’s just what happens but it hasn’t been a big enough problem for me yet, but it is a little annoying.

Beautiful, sturdy bed for the money.
Iâve been sleeping on this bed (king size) for 3 days. First off let me say that the design of this bed is simple yet gorgeous. It looks far more expensive than the money you pay for it. In terms of quality: So far, so good. At this moment in time Iâll admit it is a quality product for the money. In my case, it is supporting an extremely heavy Tempur-Pedic mattress along with myself and my girlfriend (combined 350 lbs). I have not felt any sort of shaking, heard any creaking or anything of the sort so it appears to be very sturdy. Weâll see how it holds up over time but so far all of the positive reviews which led me to buying this product seem to check out.The only negatives about buying this great product is the shipping weight and assembly. It may be because my bed is a king size but I found it very difficult to transport to the 2nd floor without the help of others and I once delivered office and house furniture for a living. Certainly not a good time.The assembly is quite easy to the naked eye but some of the bolts used to assemble the bed are in postions where you have to continuously remove and re-insert the included Hex-key multiple times before the bolt can tighten properly. If you have a screw gun handy, you may want to use that to save time. But be sure to take it easy as this bed was intended to be assembled by hand.To conclude:-This bed is a beautiful, fantastic product.-Shipping weight is extremely heavy. Grab a helper.-Assembly is a pain in the wrist. Find an easier alternative.Hope this helps.

Great Bed Frame for the Price!

Packaging is heavy so be prepared
I did a great deal of research and reviewing before we purchased this bed so I am going to be as detailed as possible. I was very interested in the slats and the fact that I did not want to have to purchase a box spring and I wanted to try a gel mattress which led me to purchase this particular bed. The bed was delivered a day late which was perfect for us because we were out of town. The box was in GREAT condition and extremely heavy – my husband and I attempted to take it upstairs and I simply couldn’t carry it. We ended up opening the box in the driveway which was a great idea and carrying the pieces/parts/slats making a couple of trips. As in other reviews, there are no written directions – all pictures are fairly easy to follow. I spread everything out and began following the diagrams which ended up being relatively easy and not taking nearly as long as I had expected. The trick is to loosen the screws that are already on the headboard and the footboard BEFORE you begin attaching everything AND, make sure you have tightened everything as much as possible. We went around the entire frame after I completed putting the bed together to ensure that nothing was loose. This bed is not only gorgeous, but very sturdy and tight. I purchased a 10.5 inch mattress which fits perfectly – it is very comfortable and there is no shifting. The mattress allows plenty of room for the viewing of the headboard. The look is modern and refreshing comparing to our former four poster bed which is now in our guest room. I would highly recommend this bed!

I spent a lot of time researching platform beds and reading the reviews, but a lot of the reviews were mixed. This bed had the most consistent, positive reviews and the value for money was undeniable. I was worried about some of the reviews for this bed and others in the Zinus line, saying they found bed bugs in the product. This made me hesitate buying for a while, but then I finally decided to take the plunge. We unpackaged the bed from the box and loved that everything was packed neatly and tightly in the headboard itself. We left all the fabric pcs in the plastic it was wrapped in, along with the headboard, and left it in the freezing cold garage for 5-7 days, just to play it safe. I also sprayed everything down with Lysol for fabrics. May have been overkill, but better to be safe than sorry.You will need help bringing everything upstairs, as it is quite heavy. To make it more manageable, we took it up in pcs instead of all in the headboard.You have to put it together based off of photos only and the only pcs that are labeled are the fasteners in the package, so keep things organized to save yourself any headaches.They provide a handy tool for you for assembly, and it was all I needed!I was able to assemble the bed, by myself, in less than an hour. It was pretty easy, just a couple pauses to stare at the photos to make sure the right bars were where they were supposed to be.I’ve slept on the bed for about 3 nights now and it’s been marvelous! It’s sturdy and pretty well constructed. Best of all, it sits flat and is beautiful to look at.The only con, for some, may be the height of the headboard. If you have a fairly deep matress or lots of pillows you like to stand up, you will cover the headboard. I for one, won’t have my bed on display for the world, so it doesn’t really matter and I just lay my pillows flat.Overall, would recommend and buy this bed again.
