Beautiful blue bed frame with comfy headboard
I received this in the full size about a week ago. The FedEx guy actually helped me push it into the front of my apartment which was nice of him, as it was quite heavy; fortunately I never had to lift it. I pushed the large box into the bedroom, cut the cardboard carefully with a scissor blade, lay it on its side and slid out the headboard. Sure enough, on the back there was a sticker saying to unzip it, that everything is inside. After taking stock of what was included, I started assembling the bed. It took me just about an hour or so to assemble. The included Allen ratchet was excellent; I don’t think it explains, but you push the metal part in the middle to the right as you screw in the screw and then push that little metal part to the left to help release the ratchet from the screw. Once I figured this out, assembly was pretty straightforward; you just have to make sure you put in the parts labeled 1 and 2 on the correct sides of the headboard, plus notice that the side boards parts H and I are reversed on the left and right sides.As for how the bed looks, I think it is beautiful and looks like a more expensive bed. I lay my newly purchased 13″ heavenly Avocado Green with Pillowtop mattress (highest rated in “Consumer Reports”) on it to let it fully expand and in a short while was able to test out the bed. The bed frame was sturdy, even and didn’t squeak when I tried bouncing on the mattress. I can lay my head on the headrest while sitting on the bed, and it feels nice, soft and padded against my head. It just looks like a real grown-up bed with the matching blue soft material on the footboard of the bed as well on the left and right sides in addition to the comfy headboard. I’m very pleased thus far and hope, based on some of the other reviews, that this bed will last for years to come. The Avocado Green people actually recommended, among a few places, that I look at Zinus for a bed frame, and I’m so pleased I found this one.Also, there’s about 7 inches height of storage space underneath which gives me ample room for some long plastic 6 1/2 inch high Container Store storage on wheels which I had. Plus the headboard, now clear of all the bed parts it came with, can be a good storage spot for things you might want out of sight — just make sure it doesn’t interfere with the feel of the nice comfy padding material. So this is a very functional as well as beautiful piece of furniture, and I highly recommend it.

Nice and easy
This was massive in the box and quite heavy to lug myself from the porch to the bedroom. So I got it inside and unpacked it to bring it piece by piece to the bedroom. Assembly was easy and took maybe an hour and a half. The color is true to the advertisement. It is sturdy and I feel secure on it. I like the height from the floor. It is a great deal for the money. And my cat likes the space on the headboard for sitting above me.

Arrived on time and in great shape. I love the color and goes well with the room. It took less than an hour to assemble (one person….me). It looks nice and is very sturdy. Actually it is much better than I expected and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I can’t find anything negative to say about it!

Love these headboards from Amazon. I’ve bought 3 so far, and I will buy more because I just moved. So easy to assemble, look elegant, are practical and reasonably priced. Mattress sits on wood slacks that are firm and durable. No need for box spring.

I love this bed! I researched a LOT of queen size platform beds on several sites to redecorate my guest room in a mid-century modern style. I was looking at value, quality, size, free shipping and color. I originally wanted white but was not able to meet my criteria. This is a small room, only about 9.5ft wide, with only one wall a bed can be placed. I needed narrower width to have room for 2 nightstands and shorter to have room to walk around. It is only a difference of 2-4 inches but that made a big difference in this room. I chose this bed with the straight legs rather than more common MCM style slanted legs. I didnât want my elderly parents tripping over the legs if they stuck out any. I kept coming back to this bed and I am so happy I purchased it.Pros:⢠Sooo easy to assemble- see pics. The instructions were easy to follow. One person could probably do it. 2 of us built it in about 45 minutes (stopping to take pictures).⢠Light weight- Opened box downstairs and carried pieces upstairs. Once constructed it is light enough to re-center. (w/o mattress)⢠Sturdy and slats fit snug with velcro.⢠Love the color of heather blue⢠Headboard was taller than most; allows plenty of room for taller mattress. (Pictured with OLD mattress)⢠Overall dimensions (LxW) smaller than a lot of beds which I needed in this very small room.Cons:⢠The tool provided didn’t work great; recommend allen wrenches and a ratchet.⢠The headboard legs are not upholstered to the floor which would have looked nicer. By the time I added bedding and nightstands this didn’t matter.⢠Pay attention to the measurements of your space if you would prefer a slightly more substantial bed.Tips:⢠Leave the screws slightly loose so you can adjust the fit of the pieces into each other and so you can fit the slats in at the end. If you tighten first the slats may not all fit between the side pieces. Loosening the screws made it easy to push the slats down into place. Then of course tighten them all.⢠No issues as in negative reviews- no bed bugs, no broken pieces, no torn zippers.Overall this bed was an excellent value, shipped in the timeframe indicated, easy to assemble and looks great. BTW the lamps and nightstands also were purchased through Amazon. Still working on the rug and design elements. I cannot wait to finish decorating this room.

I can say that this platform bed frame from ZINUS is sturdy, durable and reliable. The assembly was super easy, took me less than an hour to set up by myself. The bed frame has a modern look and it fits perfectly with my room decor. It also provides ample storage space underneath the bed which is a great feature. The slats are well-spaced and provide great support for the mattress. I haven’t noticed any squeaking or creaking even when the kids jump on the bed. I highly recommend this bed frame to anyone who is looking for a good quality and affordable platform bed frame.

I love this bed frame. I bought a zinus mattress to go with it and itâs fantastic. All the parts are packed in the back of the headboard; I suggest you take them all out before you move it anywhere. Some of the cross supports were packed inside the wood slats (moment of panic when I couldnât find them). Materials are sturdy and fit together nicely. Lining up the headboard legs and screws was tricky; I did it with a buddy and a headlamp to see the screw holes (the screws have to get through the upholstery before you line them up with the holes) this was the most frustrating part. But after that, assembly was easy. There is a QR code for an assembly video and a great ratcheting Allen tool. We sat on the wooden slats to pop them in perfectly! Sturdy, classy, and great quality.

Looks great, solid bed. 1 hour assembly. Great price.Only issue was Amazon shipping⦠first purchase ended up being delivered a week after the âguaranteed delivery dateâ. I had contacted Amazon and they advised me it was probably lost, so refunded me and advised me to repurchase. I did repurchase and once again took 6 days beyond the guaranteed delivery. Purolator is a nightmare to deal with and couldnât provide an estimated delivery date, claiming they needed to wait to have two drivers to take it out together as it was too heavy. Eventually it was delivered by a lone driver.Amazing refunded both my purchases and told me to keep as the return shipping would have been astronomical.

Price for this bed goes up and down for some reason. I got a queen sized one for $450. Shipping was quick and easy. I was super worried about the bed bug issue that they had in the past. I meticulously went over the whole bed to see if it had any or not, IT DID NOT.A monkey can put this bed together. Just don’t over torque the bolts, snug is what your looking for. Like with other furniture you put together yourself if you start over torqueing bolts your going to have a bad time.The bed looks fantastic. If you like navy blue this is the bed for you. It’s sturdy, I didn’t place mine up against the wall as I placed a projector on top of the headboard so I wanted some space for the wires. It’s still pretty sturdy. Overall a good buy for $450. Anything more than 450, just buy it from Silk and Snow. At least it’s local.

I had read so many positive reviews about this bed, that I just had to try it. I purchased the navy queen bed frame and it was a BREEZE to assemble (late 30s lady assembled it no problem!). The company packaged this SO WELL. ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS AND PARTS LABELLED CLEARLY AND ZIPPED UP IN THE HEADBOARD! Makes it so easy to move as well. My casper mattress fits perfectly in here and I just LOVVVVVE how the slats are Velcro secured to the frame. They don’t move, squeak or shift at all! Previous I have had Ikea bedframes where the slats are screwed in with a metal x stabilizer….hated hate it and it always ended up breaking. This bed is amazing. Looks so good assembled and just SMART design, production and assembly. Don’t think, just BUY. Thank you Zinus for this wonderful bed and packaging! I will highly recommend it to friends and family.
