I love this lock!
I have double doors on the front of my house and just got new locks for them a year ago, so I didn’t want to change everything. I was looking for a lock that allows for a code, fingerprint, or phone app access for multiple people so my family wouldn’t have to carry extra keys for my home. After considerable research, I decided on this one.This lock has everything I was looking for and it matches the rest of my door hardware, so it was a much less expensive option than changing everything. The lock was easy to install with only a screwdriver and it seems very secure.I already had the Smart Life app on my phone, so it was a bonus that I didn’t need another app. At first, the app didn’t want to lock and unlock the door, although I could hear it making noise like it wanted to. I decided to uninstall and then reinstall the lock on the app, and presto! It worked perfectly!I love this lock and how easy it is to use with the app, fingerprint, or code. There are also keys in case of some unforeseen issue. I can give all of my family members their own codes and they can also use their fingerprints for really easy access. The log on the app tells me exactly who is coming and going, which is reassuring. All in all, this is a really good lock at a reasonable price. I would definitely buy it again.

Incredible technology
Day 1: 5 stars. Easy assembly. Easy to setup the IC cards, fingerprints and the remote unlock. All worked with no problem. I didn’t realize it came with the gateway- Amazon’s recommendations made it sound like people were buying gateways in addition to this. Came with 3 keys also (anyone with kids…you know this is a big deal vs 2 keys). The app shows the battery life of the lock which alleviates some fear that I had with my previous lock keypad lock. The phone notifications and Entry log are a nice bonus (the log shows the method used to enter also), though I don’t know if I’ll end up using them (probably good for a business). When trying to send an invite link to my wife it wouldn’t let me change the country to USA (instead of Canada) so hopefully that doesn’t actually matter.Some things that weren’t clear in the instructions that I’d like to know. How long does the Gateway battery last? Or does it always need to stay plugged in?I had to get rid of my last keypad lock (different brand) because the ‘motor’ broke after just a few months so the keypad became useless. Regardless of the brand, that was my biggest concern with my next purchase. We will see if this one can take a beating!

Wi-Fi lock good addition to your home
I purchased this lock so I could have flexibility and not have a bunch of keys floating around. This lock has several options including fingerprints, key codes, smart cards, even remote access. It is a great option since I have minor children. Their fingerprints work great with this lock. They get a kick out of using their prints to open the house. The remote feature is a plus as well as a piece of mind for me. Install was easy enough and it looks good too. Initially when I purchased this lock, it was missing several essential parts. I contacted their support team and informed them of my issue. Their response was almost immediate and very efficient. They shipped out another lock that was complete and stayed in contact until I received it. The new lock I received is the one pictured and it works wonderfully. I would recommend this lock for the features, price, ease of install, and the availability of support if you should need it. Iâm very satisfied with my purchase and look forward to doing more business with this company.

Installing the lock is straightforward.At first the lock was not locking electronically and giving me an error, I contacted customer service and they replied quickly, indicating it was likely due to the hand of the door. They walked me though changing the setting. This setting found under “more” when in the app with the lock selected. As described below:1. First outside the door and face the lock keypad>if the hinge is on your right, it’s a right door>if the hinge is on your left, it’s a left door2. Open your app and use the app to lock or unlock and to make sure the app and the lock connect well, then go to app – more – unlock direction>if you choose the correct unlock direction, then change it to wrong unlock direction and then use the app to lock and unlock, then change it to the correct unlock direction and use the app to lock and unlock again.>if you choose the wrong unlock direction, then use the app to lock and unlock and then change it to the correct unlock direction.The only other note is that you will require 4 AA batteries, so I recommend buying some rechargeables for thisFinger print entry saves a lot of time and works well.So far so good!

Good product but be aware that the G2 is 2.4GHz matters if you want to use it with your 5.0GHZ. Router. When installing in my App, the G2 was rejected on the basis of my Router, which renders it unusable. Therefore I can not use it with Alexa which I was hoping for. I still gave it 4 stars because the door lock is working great so far and will still recommend the purchase

Let’s get to the point, since I hate reviews that just drags on about nonsensical stories about their life and how this product has changed their life and yada yada yada. My mom always told me, keep it simple, stupid. And this review will just be that. Simple. Although my mother was born in the 1950s., she was a very practical woman that way. MY father though, he would go on and on about stories off topic to the point we were talking about.
