I am impressed! My food tastes better
I did a lot of research in advance and this pan looked just right. I was choosing between this and allclad and chose Tramontina due to good reviews of comparisons. Plus, I wanted to try stainless for the first time, so the price point was better in case I decided that stainless steel is not for me.And it did not disappoint! The saute effect is much better than in nonstick pans – chicken gets this pretty brown color, and onions and veggies seem to saute tastier than on nonstick pans. The food taste is elevated better! If you heat it well before cooking – you are not going to have stickiness. It worked for me from the first time! Just make sure it’s so hot that a drop of water is rolling, wait till it vaporizes, reduce to medium and add oil and it is ready to go.Although I can’t say it was completely nonstick, but adding a bit water or broth and scraping helps the sticky part to come off immediately. Honestly, some of my old nonsticks are way stickier than this! It is easy to scrape the parts, plus I do like to add broth or water to my sautees anyway. It was not hard to wash even compared to some of my “used-to-be” nonstick skillets. I didn’t even need to boil water on it for cleaning, it all came off with just dish soap and a sponge. There are tiny cons for me: it comes without a lid, and is a bit bulky, so it is super hard to lean with one hand if you want to pour the food into the containers. But that doesn’t affect cooking and I am just gonna get a lid.I am going to buy more sizes! This pan is very big for meals for two.

Affordable and gets it done!
This has quickly become my favorite skillet; though there are some adjustments necessary when working with stainless steel, this one cooks well and evenly. Between this and my enameled Dutch oven, I feel like I could get rid of most of my other pots and pans, because those are the only two I really use. Would recommend!

Stainless Steel
Bought a stainless steel 12″ fry pan and a 3 quart sauce pan. Fry pan was made in China, sauce pan was made in Brazil. Both advertised as made in Brazil. Both cooks well, just made sure you properly preheat and let the pan release any meat you are cooking on it’s own. Cleaning is easily with Barkeepers Friend, vinegar, or baking soda.

High Quality that lasts!
We have been using this pan for the last few months and absolutely love it. Great quality, cooks with even heat and retains heat well. Highly recommend

Large pan, with excellent properties
It’s a solid tri-ply stainless steel 12 inch pan, treat it properly and it will last.DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL ON STAINLESS STEEL COOKWARE.Use ChoreBoy pure copper scrubbing pads instead, the copper is softer than stainless steel and it does not scratch it, using the ChoreBoy copper scubbing pads and hot water with dawn dish soap it keeps the pan clean and looking like new.Since this is a tri-ply stainless steel pan it WILL HEAT UP FAST, you do not need to set your stove top to max heat to get this thing hot in a hurry even medium heat will do it with a quickness, do not overheat the pan!

Wish I only bought Tramontina. Regret wasting money on some All-Clad
This as well as our 10″ Tramontina Frying pan are simply excellent.Amazing to work with on our induction cooktopNon-stick when heated, oiled & used properlyWe use them daily. We do not use our other all-clad that much..Save a ton of money – the premium only buys the name

Beautiful but does not clean easily
After my grandma shamed me for my older set of pans hanging in my kitchen, I let two go and bought one of the Tramontina here. My old ones were bought at a thrift store, unmatched and I used them for years. Time for something new!The Tramontina is a beautiful pan. It is a nice heavy weight. However, it does not clean well. Stuff gets stuck on most every time, 100% STICKS if cheese is in the recipe. I don’t have a dishwasher and find I use my remaining old pan way more than the Tramontina because the old pan doesn’t take forever to clean. Who wants to have a pan sitting around waiting to be cleaned because it’s such a burden?I love the look and feel of the Tramontina, but I’d say being able to easily clean a pot/pan is more important to me. Wanted to share this with folks who may be in the same boat when deciding on the Tramontina.

I wanted a stainless steel pan b/c theyâre east and require little maintenance. The NY Times Wirecutter rated this as a good pan, for the price. There are better ones that are much more expensive. This pan was also more expensive in Japan compared to the US.

I did research on internet and this is a good stainless steel frying pan with a perfect balance of price and performance. I havenât used any other stainless steel frying pan as I mostly use carbon steel frying pan but I just get this pan acidic food like tomato. If there is anything to complain, it would be the handle as itâs rounded and itâs not grippy enough for me to hold it tight for long. But I rarely flip the pan during cooking. Anyway, this one is easy to clean and I think Iâm still learning how to better control the temperature while using it and make it a nonstick pan.

Had the pan for a few months now and here’s my own review. Pan is made from poor quality steel. The middle heats up too fast even under the lowest temp. Everything sticks to it. If you want to be soaking and scrubbing this thing 24/7 then pls buy it. What’s the point of having a high quality pan if you can’t turn up the temp with it..wth??? I’d keep shopping on this one. Fyi, this is the one made in Brazil and not China but it still sucks.
