I love this set so far! I ordered these because my previous set of pots and pans had glass lids with metal rims when I cooked anything with oil the oil would collect into the lids. No matter how I scrubbed the lids, oil would still seep out along the rims. So I found these faberware pots and pans with the lids and rims all in one piece! They wash wonderful. They look nice and are a great bargain!! So far, I think these are the best set of cookware Iâve owned! ð¤·ââï¸ð¤·ââï¸ð¤·ââï¸ð¤·ââï¸ð¤·ââï¸ð¤·ââï¸ð¤·ââï¸After using these for a couple months, I donât like them as much. Stainless steel is too lightweight and things scorch in them. Not real happy with them. If I had to do it over, I wouldnât.

Great Quality and Reliable Cookware Set
I got the Farberware Classic Stainless Steel Cookware Set, and it’s been great for my kitchen. The pots and pans heat up quickly and evenly, which makes cooking so much easier. The handles are comfortable, and the lids look really nice. Cleaning is a breeze since everything (except the nonstick frying pans) can go in the dishwasher. They’re also safe to use in the oven up to 350°F and come with three useful nylon cooking tools. The set has all the saucepans, a saucepot, a stockpot, and frying pans I need. The induction-compatible bases help distribute heat evenly. I highly recommend this set if you’re looking for good quality cookware that works well.

Love my tried and true AND my brand new!
I am also one of those that received their first set of Farberware cookware for a wedding gift way back in 1987. I have enjoyed using that set all of these years., they have held up so well and still even look good! We recently purchased a vacation/retirement home and I need an extra set of cookware for it. This home came with an induction cooktop range (which I’ve never used before) Some cookware is literally not compatible with it at all , won’t even heat up! But these lovely pots and pans work perfectly with it! I have been using them at the new house for about 2 months and I love them just as much as my vintage set. And I love that the skillets are now non stick. All of the pieces clean up wonderfully in the dishwasher! I am a happy, loyal Farberware cookware fan!

They should offer this set without the frying pans.
These are similar to a set I was given 35 years ago when I got my first apartment. The handles on these feel like plastic, where the older ones were less slick and felt better finished. Otherwise they are very similar. These heat evenly and quickly like the old ones do, and the heat plate does a good job of maintaining a steady temperature. The stainless cleans up easily, although it doesn’t appear to be as smooth as the old ones.. that may simply be age and use.The only downside is the frying pans. They look and feel cheap, and I don’t know about the quality of the non-stick coating. Those are the reason I took away one star. I have a good set of those, and tend to use cast iron when possible, so these immediately went into storage.6 Month Update:These are every bit as high quality as the originals, except for the handles. I think the old ones used Bakelite for the handles, and the plastic ones on these don’t insulate as well. I was concerned about some of the reviews that make claims of staining, but I’ve experienced none of that. We’re very happy with these, and my only regret is not buying these sooner.

First of all, the non-stick frying pans do not work with induction. I don’t even know why they include them in the set. I changed my regular cooktop to an induction and needed a quick group of pots and pans. I like that this set is not too heavy for my weak little wrists, the outside maintains a very good appearance. The inside does tend to get a little discolored, I don’t know why and I haven’t looked into cleaning too much. The vintage look was a nice addition. All in all, I’m pleased with the set. It’s not very expensive and I might start building a very expensive other name brand over time. But until then this suits the bill perfectly.Update: I LOVE this set. It cleans easily and is still bright and shiny. I did burn popcorn in the largest container, but I put some rinse aid in it to soak overnight and the next day just scrubbed it out. The interiors still show a tiny bit of discoloration but I love the way everything cooks for me in this set. I do take good care of them and wash the bottoms carefully and they have stayed brand new looking. All in all I cannot recommend any more highly, and I no longer am searching the high- and alternatives to this economical set. I also love the fact that the tops are not glass and I can clean everything really well. Don’t hesitate!

I originally purchased 2 used Farberware classic saucepans off a FB selling site which had been less than well maintained and both were in considerably poor condition. Not deterred, I scrupulously cleaned them to almost original new condition and fell in love with the shape of the pans, cute handles and quirky lids.As these appear to only be available in the US and being based in the UK, I took the plunge and paid the high customs and shipping fees and bought the 15 pc set (which equated to almost as much as the saucepan set itself!). I could not be more delighted, especially as they arrived a week earlier than anticipated by Amazon.The pans are absolutely gorgeous – a truly classic and quirky style that will last for years and years to come with the added bonus of looking fabulous on display.The original two I bought (as mentioned above) were in poor condition, but with some elbow grease they really did return to almost new condition so I have no doubt that any marks or discolouration on the new set can easily be rectified with the correct products (I swear by Bar Keepers Friend and Wrights (an American product) silverware and copperware cleaners (cheap as chips over in the US and if you buy 6-10 pcs, it is worth the shipping costs) as well as good ol’ Brillo pads!Highly recommend both this pan set and Amazon for a super fast shipment with constant transit updates available on their website

Me encanta la marca aunque si se mancha más fácil de lo que pensaba. Especialmente en el interior pero nada grave. En mi caso es lo de menos porque cocina muy bien los alimentos, además se reduce el tiempo de cocción. Por fuera, estéticamente son muy lindas. OJo el tamaño es más pequeño que el estándar pero es justo lo que buscaba porque no se cocina para más de tres personas. O si lo necesitas para alimentos como granos, carne o ciertas leguminosas que toman más tiempo, te servirá muy bien, ya puedes guisar en utensilios más grandes.

I love Farberware and still have a set that I bought more years ago than I can remember. These look just a good and I expect them to last as well. However, the 8-qt pot had a dent in the side. It’s still usable, but I was disappointed that this fine company would send out a dented product.
