Product Overview
Tramontina’s 10-Piece Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Cookware Set is built for home cooks who demand professional performance in their everyday kitchen. Meticulously crafted in Brazil, this collection brings together premium materials and thoughtful design to deliver reliable results across a wide range of cooking styles. Whether you’re preparing a delicate sauce, searing a steak, or boiling pasta for dinner, this set offers the tools and versatility needed to achieve consistent, restaurant-quality outcomes.
The standout feature of this cookware is its tri-ply clad construction—a bonded aluminum core sandwiched between two layers of high-grade 18/10 stainless steel. This design ensures that heat spreads evenly across the entire surface and up the sides of each pan, eliminating hot spots and supporting precise temperature control. From simmering to sautéing, every dish benefits from uniform heating that helps prevent burning and promotes better browning or reduction.
With compatibility spanning induction, gas, electric, and ceramic glass cooktops, this set adapts seamlessly to any kitchen setup. The magnetic stainless-steel exterior activates induction ranges while maintaining excellent performance on traditional burners. Additionally, all pieces are oven-safe up to 350°F (176°C), allowing you to transition effortlessly from stovetop to oven for recipes like roasted meats or finished casseroles.
Key Features
- Tri-Ply Clad Construction: Each piece features an aluminum core encased in 18/10 stainless steel, ensuring even heat distribution from edge to edge for consistent cooking without scorching or hot spots.
- Universal Cooktop Compatibility: Works flawlessly on induction, gas, electric, and ceramic glass surfaces—making it ideal for modern and classic kitchens alike.
- Oven Safe Up to 350°F (176°C): Safe for use in ovens at moderate temperatures, enabling direct transfer from stove to oven for multi-step recipes.

- Tempered Glass Lids: Shatter-resistant lids allow full visibility into cooking progress while sealing in moisture and flavor during simmering or steaming.

Benefits & Use Cases
This 10-piece set delivers everything essential for comprehensive daily cooking—from quick breakfasts to elaborate dinners. The included 8-inch and 10-inch frying pans are perfect for eggs, pancakes, stir-fries, and browning proteins. The 1.5-quart and 3-quart sauce pans are ideal for reducing sauces, making gravies, or reheating leftovers, while the 3-quart sauté pan offers ample space for larger portions of vegetables or meat. The generous 8-quart stock pot excels at boiling pasta, simmering soups, or preparing large batches of grains and beans.
Users appreciate how quickly and evenly these pans respond to temperature changes on low to medium heat—eliminating the need for high flame settings and improving energy efficiency. The clear glass lids let you monitor doneness without lifting, helping retain steam and keep foods moist. Many customers also note the attractive, polished finish enhances kitchen aesthetics while remaining easy to maintain.
Because of its robust build and professional-grade materials, this set is designed to last a lifetime with proper care. The combination of durability, functionality, and sleek design makes it suitable not only for home kitchens but also for light commercial environments where NSF certification adds credibility.
Important Notes
The complete set includes: two frying pans (8-inch and 10-inch), two covered sauce pans (1.5-quart and 3-quart), one 3-quart sauté pan with lid, and one 8-quart stock pot with lid. All lids fit securely and are made of tempered glass for safety and clarity. Although dishwasher-safe per manufacturer specifications, hand washing is advised to extend the life of the polished surface and maintain optimal performance over time.
Always allow cookware to cool completely before washing to avoid thermal shock. Do not place hot pans directly into cold water or expose them to sudden temperature changes. When using on induction stovetops, ensure the base fully contacts the cooking surface for maximum efficiency.
While intended primarily for home use, the NSF certification reflects compliance with stringent food service industry standards—offering peace of mind regarding material purity and construction integrity.

Fantastic pots, a thoughtful set
These pots are very high quality, very well designed. The lids fit tightly. They clean easily, without any coatings or chemicals. The set lacked a small saucepan, but I bought one separately, along with a steamer, and was able to do away with the miscellaneous of sizes and types that had filled my cabinet. The finish is beautiful, the workmanship is great, heat distribution seems even and fast. Can be used in the oven, as they are all steel. Nothing about them is annoying or substandard.

Awesome pots and pans-NOT made in China!
We have been so happy with these pans. We’ve had them almost 3 yrs now and still rave about them. They still look great, We even put them in the dishwasher (we do use Barkeeper’s Friend if needed but it rarely is). I prefer the glass lids but the company does also make sets with metal lids. Company is based in Brazil and pans are made there.Pros: excellent quality, good looking, flat bottoms-no warping!, cook really well, surprisingly easy to clean, NOT made in China,Cons: they are really heavy duty so they are heavy

AWESOME FOR INDUCTION COOKTOP
The Plus: Heavy duty construction without heavy weight. Amazing response and heating on our induction cooktop, the best I have ever used apart from cast iron. They look beautiful. The Minus: They really only come clean with Barkeepers Friend. I take mine to the mud sink where I can use BKF liberally and they end up looking like new. There is a learning curve, you must use lower heat to start and then turn down much lower or you will have a lot of sticking, even with a well oiled pan. On the pots, the flange on the lid in too small and they have no place from which to pour out a pan. A larger strainer flange of the lid would be a big addition. Also on the pans, when you remove the hot glass lit and set it aside, you can hear it cooling, that is a bit unsettling. The handles on all are a bit too long and would benefit from a silicone coating, especially the lids.Bottom Line: I love them, my wife hates them, but I do most of the cooking. You must learn how to cook with them to make them more resistant to sticking and that means using lower heat. You must clean with BKF. We clean them as usual and run them through the dishwasher, but the next morning I brighten them up with BKF. Most of the criticisms of this product will be solved but following these suggestions.Final Thought: I also bought a Redchef non-stick skillet which is almost identical in construction to the Tramontina. Look to be made in same factory. It has a really nice non-stick surface. Unfortunately they only make two sizes and no pots. I would recommend the Redchef over the Tramontina if non-stick is a big issue for you.

great pot!
I am a notorious pot and pan destroyer. I’m trying to phase out all my cooking stuff for ceramic, stainless steel, and cast iron, as I assume many are nowadays. After a lot of looking around this brand stuck out as similar to All Clad. This pot is the perfect size for pasta, soups, and more. It does stick a little sometimes but it’s easily scraped up and/or washed out. I assume there is a conditioning for stainless steel that I did not do, because parts of the outside flare blue sometimes, but overall I am extremely pleased it. Some more pros include that it is technically dishwasher safe and lighter and less expensive than All Clad or Le Creuset. I would happily purchase a set of these!

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS ðBut one of the lids came brokenItâs ⨠shiny ⨠High Quality ⨠Great size ⨠bit heavy but i guess itâs good! But iâm sure the way they place the items inside the box made it too heavy on the lid so it broke.Talked to de Tramontina support they sent me a new lid, in a bout 1 week I got a new one, so that was great!Would I biy it again? Absolutely!Hope this helps.

Do yourself a favor and ditch the “nonstick” Teflon coated skillets!
I highly recommend going with a multi-ply stainless pan like this one over a teflon coated type pan. The durability and washability of this little guy has been great and it’s just the right size for frying up a couple eggs and other smaller size tasks. It may take some getting used to if you’ve been using teflon coated pans, but I recommend just using a little more oil and letting the pan get up to temperature before adding your ingredients to start. While it may seem like a bit more work, it’s well worthwhile for a dishwasher safe pan that lasts. Now I don’t have to worry about scratching or flaking coating getting in my food or having to replace it anytime soon. I’ve had it for a while now and it’s as good as new!

I’ve had Tramontina cookware for years and it’s a heckuva value compared to other tri-ply brands
I have mostly the Brazilian made cookware (started with a set from Costco some years ago). As I’ve come to use the 8″ skillet more often for eggs these days, I decided to add a second one. On first use, I made eggs over easy in this new skillet. Zero issues when you preheat the pan and *then* add your fat (butter, olive oil). Considering the original set is a good 10 years old or more, comparing the pieces in that set to this new 8″ Brazilian made skilletshows just how well this brand of tri-ply cookware holds up. A bit more maintenance that non-stick but so worth the little extra trouble. Learn how to use it correctly and it’s very easy to cook eggs (fried, over easy, scrambled, omelets) without any thing sticking.I think the 350 degree oven rating is a typo. True for the non-stick but Tramontin’s website shows 500 degrees for their tri-ply stainless (non-coated) for oven use.Recently, I ordered a brand new 10″ All-Clad D3 skillet, a 12.5″ D3 Everyday skillet, and am expecting a 10.5″ D3 Everyday skillet. So far, the first two have been returned for terrible quality control. A couple months ago, All-Clad had a D3 set of the 10 and 12 inch skillets on a great sale as a package. Yup, quality control issues with those too and they were returned without use. Save for a Chinese made Tramontina skillet bought at Costco, I have found their construction superior to All-Clad. Bold statement but that’s been my experience with the two brands. I won’t try All-Clad again.

I bought this pot because I was tired of buying low quality cookware that would warp and become miserable to use or just wouldn’t last long in general. I’m relatively young so I don’t have a large cookware collection, but this is the best pot I’ve ever purchased and I’m optimistic that it will be a lifetime purchase. It has a very good weight for its size, and I love the extra handle. It’s a perfect volume for me as well as I can cook for myself or others making it an ideal happy medium for size as a single adult. And at the price it is excellent value compared to other tri-ply stainless steel cookware. Also I highly recommend getting some barkeepers friend to keep it looking brand new as regular soap and warm water doesn’t always get it completely clean.

After reading reviews I decided to purchase this large cookware pot. The quality was good, love the clear vented lid. Even heat distribution and holds the heat well. I would purchase other sizes from this brand.
