Beautiful table and the lift top works great
First off, this type of furniture has to be completely assembled. It comes with about 200-300 screws and other pieces of hardware. That is expected for anything in this price range. If you are not comfortable spending 4 hours putting it all together than you should probably be looking at something twice the price or at your local furniture store. The reason these are so cheap is you provide the labor to assemble it. I give it 5 stars because it is great for what it is.That doesn’t mean that the furniture is cheap. This thing is very heavy and feels solid once fully assembled. It is pressed wood that is laminated, but again that is everything in this price range and doesn’t mean that it is cheap quality. I would say the only thing I worry about with this is the top getting scratched. The solid black color and type of veneer it is using seems to be more prone to scratches.It took me about 3 hours to assemble but I have done many other types of furniture with this assembly method in the past. I use a screwdriver, lightweight drill, and a hex wrench. Had a big area rug to place everything on and keep it organized and safe. I was able to do it all myself although once you get towards the end it does get heavy. Fully assembled it weighs around 90lbs.It looks amazing in our room. Feels very modern. The bright white color really pops against the block top and accents. The lift top moves easily and does not feel like it will break. That was what I was most worried about with this table, but those fears were not warranted. Have used it like a desk and a dinner table.I do wish it was on caster wheels. I will probably try to figure out how to install some. We like to move the table around some based-on needs. Bring it closer to the couch to use the lift top or move it to the side to open the floor up for games or exercising. It is very large to hold lots of blankets or games. The base is sturdy and can actually hold weight. Unlike many others that only use a very thin piece to make it look like it has a bottom.

Beautiful and Easy to Put Together
This was exactly what we were looking for. It was the coffee table I didnât know I needed. It makes working in the living room so much easier. The storage space is perfect for blankets and extra pillows. My 3 year old also still has plenty of room to hide his toys in the other side of the table. It was super easy to put together. It took about 45 minutes with my husband and I, but the instructions were easy to follow. One of the hinges squeaks pretty loudly, but it isnât that big of a deal for us. It is made of quality material, sturdy, the color is perfect, itâs very functional and a great value for our money. If youâre on the fence about ordering thisâ¦just get it. You wonât regret it.

Took hubby few hours to assemble ,but itâs totally worth it.Functional as well as great looking table .Totally worth the price.The kids have been opening and closing it it for the past week and itâs done well in terms of sturdiness and ease to use.

Something plastic like peeling off, and it’s not a protective film
Each piece of this table looks like it’s super wet, except its dry! I’ve tried to wipe it off with a dry, soft towel, and it just starts peeling??? It looks terrible and i am VERY dissapointed with how this looks. The fireplace TV stand i ordered looks NOTHING like this and it is the exact same “Light Brown” matching piece.Edit: we were able to scrub it all off, put it together and I’m pleased with the outcome so I’m not returning, however that wasn’t something I was looking forward to. Mine doesn’t scratch easily and it’s very sturdy. Bothered but satisfied with the end result, it does look nice and was easy to assemble, the table top opens up and holds position to ensure no one’s getting smashed fingers. It’s the perfect size for our living room set up and I will be purchasing more pieces.

Love extra storage!
A few reviews mentioned scratches. I canât fault the company on the scratches on mine, because as you can see, my frenchie loves the coffee table as much as I do. For size reference, heâs 30 pounds lol. I can fit so many blankets on the inside of this thing! Itâs so cute. Itâs very sturdy. I even sit on it myself sometimes. It was easy to put together.

Very happy with my purchase. I already love this piece. I have an entertainment table I was trying to match and this is perfect. I love the color and all the black trim. The piece was really easy to put together and the instructions were simple to follow. I will say it took me longer than I had hoped to put together because of all the many little screws on the hinges and black metal trim. But nevertheless Iâm very happy. It looks great and the storage compartment is huge.

Very Cute & Functional
I love that the table folds up- super convenient for writing, typing, or eating a meal. The table is a little hard to pull out but itâs better that than loose. You know itâs sturdy. There is also a lot of space for blankets inside which has made our living room less cluttered. And itâs cute!

Pretty, sturdy but also ouch
The coffee table came with plenty of extra parts, all the pieces needed and was relatively easy to put together. Took about 4hrs. It turned out rather cute and looks sturdy. My biggest issue besides the fact that itâs cheap and has a very thin laminate that scratches easily was all the fiberglass. I ended up with so many fiberglass splinters by the time I was done putting together the end table, coffee table, and TV stand in the set from the seller. I guess my only suggestion is to wipe everything down with a microfiber towel before you start putting it together⦠or prep the duct tape
